My 2 visits showed the wear and tear of the park.....I'd love to see it continue to grow and be fixed up. It really can be a nice park.

I agree with TombRaiderFTW on the lights idea. That would be awesome! As far as sounds? Hearing sounds on a wooden coaster would be hard. Based on my experience on GCI lift hills, I can hardly hear anyone around me. The sound of the train going through the course is generally not quiet either. Diamondback has had several complaints about noise from the neighborhood behind the park.

In my opinion, the meal plan pays for it self on multiple trips. The average meal is between $10-15.....eating 2 times a day, for at least 5 trips....should get you to breaking even. It's also nice because it's not $ out of your pocket that day. If the all season dining doesn't work for you, you can purchase the all day....I believe you can eat every 90 minutes on that and it's much cheaper.

The press releases have all stated that the ride is themed to a lumber company being taken back by nature......so I'm assuming the station is going to look like the renderings, looking like a lumber company........guessing they'd put some vines on it.

Threads I follow and some other things I don't follow.

I've already done that. The only thing for email highlighted is for a personal message and when I'm added to a conversation. The only thing else that it could be is email once a week with all the new content that week, yet it's a daily thing.....stinks there isn't an option for opt-out with that.

Ever since the forums updated, I've been getting an email once a day after I start posting, "Your Kings Island Central Forums digest." I thought I tweaked my settings to not get emails unless I got a PM. It's kind of obnoxious since it happens after I start posting and I'm already looking at the threads. I didn't get this email before the forums were updated.

Holy thread bump again! I much prefer Scooby to Boo Blasters....but I'd much rather have Phantom Theater.

Some people want Dinosaurs Alive replaced by a giga or even something else because we are under the impression that Dinosaurs Alive isn't all that profitable, the dinosaurs themselves are not in the best condition and the popularity isn't really there.

It's likely a storage building for Winterfest.

I just hope that the "park" that they put in, at least has some sort of ride(s) and/or memorabilia to the former park. It kills me that I had never been to this park nor knew it existed until it was too late.

While "The Boyz are Back" was an okay show, I'm hoping it's much better.

Magenta Lizard asked on Twitter whether or not the plan is really taking Reds Hall of Fame Grille and Rivertown Potato Works off of the meal plan. They've stated that the plans have not been finalized and should be released soon. I'm just hoping what we're seeing on our end is the result of website work in preparation to a new website like Cedar Point's. One could hope.

I originally decided not to do the auction, but I'm quite excited to say I'm doing it now! Looking forward to the event and of course riding with Magenta Lizard and Mrs. NoChickens.

Look at it the way I look at going to KI/CP by having a season pass I don't feel like I have to do everything on one visit because I know I'll be back soon. When you do that, you don't have to worry about getting every single thing you want to do done....the biggest thing is be flexible.

Just know that Coaster Stock more than likely will make you exhausted! It's such a great/fun event. It's a struggle getting getting rested during that weekend!

I agree.....front row really anywhere at night is amazing. Outside just puts the cherry on top. My first ride on it was front row, outside seat at night when it was close to bare minimum temps. AHHH-MAZING. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My visit was in I think 2011....maybe 2012....so they apparently did some track work! I didn't even attempt the Sky Diver...it seemed like too tight of a fit for me. I was sad that we weren't allowed to ride the kiddie coaster there.

With Intamin's reliability, I highly doubt that Cedar Fair would bring in an Intamin to a California park. I'm thinking they wouldn't with how California is extremely difficult on rides inspections. I also think if Cedar Fair were to do a project with Intamin again, it'd be a much bigger scale than an impulse coaster.
