They may not notice little things such as a gun that doesn’t make sound but they probably do notice targets that don’t work or effects that don’t work, lights that are out, or peeling paint.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

thats fair on the ROI but that logic would almost make it seem like KI should never build a giga because of whats next. KI will build what is needed to attract the guests they want to.... Theme on many rides (Adventure Express, for example) the not always working parts of Boo Blasters Paint on Racer Lights on Racer Parking Lot Food Service (in general) just to name a few off the top of my head

I do not disagree with your sentiment but do not allow past decisions to try and prognosticate the current. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Top five things you'd like to bring back/change
shark6495 replied to IheartKI's topic in Kings Island
my top 5.... 1. Fix the parking lot: trams, repaved, and relined.... (yes I know this will never happen but its a dream list) 2. Retheme the areas and unify them: basically return the park to its roots where each area had unique music, food, sounds, shows, etc. 3. improve the food quality. Some places knock it out, but most do not sadly. Currently its not terrible, but it could be better. Same with customer service in these areas. 4. Mascots in other areas of the park, not just the kids area. Its a big park. Lets have Snoopy be seen by The Racer. Charlie Brown blasting people on WWC 5. Add a family dark ride. Something that is fun, a people mover, holds up well. Doesnt have to be a return of Phantom (doubt that will happen), but something that is worth reriding. -
If its done well, then people would love it. If its done half way or served cafeteria it would not be a hit....

This may have been said before but they need to really overhaul the sound in the Festhaus. Tinker's show was amazing... but the audio echoes mightly bad in there. I noticed it during the summer as well. It feels like the music is too loud compared to the voices....

probably announced at the same time they announce the "order the meal plane before the price goes up?"

It means that we should treat the subject with respect. Nothing more nothing less. While it is a part of park history, it helps to be reminded that this is a person who actually lived and was loved in this area. Just lets not judge the dead or the living. Agreed and thank you. I just dont like that on here, we all can get a bit carried away and forget that we are talking about someone with a family.

Let’s not forget this man was someone’s son. Someone’s friend. Etc. Every time this gets rebrought back up someone’s family or friend may come across it. And any posts you publish reflect directly on the type of person you are and the type of people we have on this site. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

We went the Friday before Christmas and it was great. It wasn’t bitterly cold. It rained a bit but no biggie. We wanted to go again but with temps in the single digits, I don’t think we are going back out. That’s the only problem up here. The zoo is open long enough (days wise) that you can pick and choose your good day to go. Oh the weather is going to be 50 on a Tuesday at the end of November better go. Where the KI weekends only till the last week makes it hard to coordinate a good time, imo. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

KI doesn't pay overtime? So the supervisors are salaried? If not it's illegal. So are you saying they are not being legal? And not to be mean but you pick the job... if it's too much or not what you want to do.... the city is hiring Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I hate terrible parents... humiliating a child doesn't work. I got my son on the Gliders, not by intimidation or humiliation. I got him on (he was scared to death) by telling him how big and brave he was. How proud we were of him. It worked. He rode. Was still afraid and didn't want to do it again for a while. Disney: Possible Spider-Man web swinging ride?
shark6495 replied to jcgoble3's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
Sort of.... Disney Owns Marvel. So it's their own... except movie rights are split between Sony and Marvel now.... except Universal (not Sony) owns theme Park Rights in Orlando to Spidey... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

We watched a lot of Cartoon Network when I was a kid born in 85. Cartoon Network aired all of the old HB cartoons and then they had their own channel Boomerang (maybe?). So we knew them as well. As for Nick Characters (just as an aside).... Spongebob, Bob the Builder, and Fairly Odd Parents are still on. So who knows. This is what CF has done tho. And in the end as long as my oldest son enjoys it over the next few years and my youngest begins in a few years that's all that matters Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I don't disagree. My biggest check boxes like Indyguy is safety, cleanliness, and how they treat my sons.... after that it's all secondary. With that being said in a perfect world (and maybe it's nostalgia) it would be nice to see my sons' reactions to riding in Blaze the truck versus the Peanuts off road rally. But they don't care. Just wishful thinking. Now if they could do something about Boo Blasters.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Sorry for he double post. Snoopy is safe and you may have a good point. There are not many "safe" family cartoons out there. I do disagree though. The theme is for the kids. If the kids don't want the Snoopy dog the parents may not want to buy it. Most kids however want anything and everything. My kid has a Snoopy hat/sunglasses combo he likes because it's the same Snoopy that's at the park. I'm not basing any of my opinions on nostalgia. Or just on nostalgia. I feel bad for my sons and the kids that visit the park for many reasons. But the coolest part about visiting the park was turning on my TV and seeing Scooby and The Flintstones then seeing hem at the park. When I was older we visited Nick Studios and to have our own Nick studios here in Cincy was great as well. But times change. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I just responded to you in another thread sorry! Respectfully working in the schools I see a completely different and opposite reaction to he movie. There are other properties kids actively identify and choose to watch. It's a good movie but it doesn't hold the kids say like Teen Titans Go, Scooby Do, Spongebob, Etc. Respectfully as a parent of little ones and working in a school (mainly high school but I do my rounds in the k-5 building).... The Peanuts movie did come out true... but the majority if not most of all kids do not actively even think of the Peanuts characters. It's not on heavy rotation for any channels etc. I'd guess that to many children that the Peanuts characters and Snoopy are thought of as a cartoon solely for KI (or whatever home park is theirs). My son knows snoopy because of KI. Not any other reason (yes we do watch the holiday specials). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
