That Golf course is really nice. They have parts of the course ifnyour ball goes in you are not allowed to go and play it or look for it. Because of the birds and snakes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

We just got back from World. May was a wonderful time. Not too hot or cold. We didn't do the meal deal, ate when we were hungry and spent about $700, meal deal would have been 1200-1300... so that helped. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Dumb question does Cedar Fair and other parks with spielers teach them to talk on a microphone or do they just not teach them how to interact with guests? Like for example at WDW their is no one on the mics on the rides. You just get on, and someone checks you and off you go I think. If there was interaction it was in preshow before the ride and in a small setting Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Went to Disney to get the Disney experience. No spielers..... it was very fun and enjoyable. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Almost felt like I was back on it. Just needs: a much much louder chain. And maybe a way to make it jump back and forth more. Felt way too smooth Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Happy to hear about the Skyline running smoother. That's the one that always blows my mind. Not taking anything away from Skyline cooks, that's one of the easiest places to make food. Burgers and chicken you can't undercook, fried foods literally have a timer of how long so you can short that time (or shouldn't). But Skyline (minus the fries) is all cooked before being brought to the line. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

A wise person here once said the park doesn't care after they got your money.... already paid for they can change stuff Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

But isn't that the problem? Management isn't training for the professionalism? In years past everything from employees standing around to making up facts.... the blame falls completely on who lets it happen.... Also once you learn the ins and outs of differing communication intents and theories you'll see the world in a whole new light. This place for example is just an echo chamber reaffirming beliefs without challenging them (to a point) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks VT. You said it better than I could. However Zootopia Flume.... that's an idea... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So last year the way we were told the "license works" is as follows. The individual rides won't allow for the license. But what the license does allow for is you can skip he line of being measured to be handed a wrist band for the right color. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Awe yes the trams.... just a little slice of the pie but it did wonders. Grandma and grandpa didn't have to walk as at the end of the day. Sleeping kids could be put in a seat for a moment..... I miss the trams every day haha Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks your inspirational message on these boards hanged my life and were not totally calling me out or anything. I really appreciate it. I'm glad you did it this way versus doing it in private. . I will chill. I won't expect top notch service or Disney level interactions. Namaste.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If you are under the age of 18 and are engaging in conversation/discussions with groups of people you don't want your mom to know about, you need to have a discussion with your mom. Or listen to her. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It's not even a being mad thing. It's annoying and just comes off unprofessional. And it's not just the train guy. It's the same thing when The Bat guy calls it Top Gun...... nothing more just an annoyance. What set me off is some yahoo in another thread telling me if I want things to work well to Just go to Disney.... sorry. Should have had a snickers and stayed away longer.... back to the shadows for me! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Agreed that whole left side of the park feels very open and empty. Maybe it's the lack of trees and gaps in between the start of the area and where The Bat is.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yeah I have a 4 year old and 6 month old this year... could totally see springing for the parking upgrade if the whole crew comes a few times this year Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

And you pick the one ride that purposely has a script done that way. Wasn't Jungle Cruise also the same ride that changed the script after the gator accident? And hey maybe I'm way off base or being the cranky old man.... but I think the original thing I replied to was the train spieler Mia among MT for SoB.... but I was also remembering previous things hat have been said in here from the crews of The Bat, The Beast, the screamers, the ones hat make up fake state etc..... Don't mistake my professional line for not being fun. There was a great spieler on TTD who was professional and entertaining. He didn't have to make up stats or do silly screaming stuff to energize the crowd. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

You are right this isn't Disney. We are reminded constantly by some on this board who expect that if you want top notch service you must attend the Disney branded parks. As others have said, why is it that Ki food Service for the last half decade or more has been going down the tubes while other parks in the chain get it right? Why is it other regional parks can figure it out but maybe ours can't. Maybe according to some on here if we want that service we should go to those parks? And Chugh I get what you are saying. You can't control for all scenarios but you can control for the most likely. Before opening day you need to have staff that can run registers, plate food, wash dishes etc. on soft openings of restaurants the problems that creep up on them are not ones of training but of unforeseen circumstances. I've worked in food service. I have done the not 50,000 crowd but the 3-5,000 crowd. But that was directed at one restaurant and not multiple. I get it. But you have to make sure your strongest are in their best spots. I hope food service improves over years past. I hope I don't have to go elsewhere to get good service (and really are we really going in that juvenile of a direction telling park goers to go to a different park to get better service?) Also I never cut down an employee to their face and always report poor and good service. I'm too old and spent too much good money to be served a product that doesn't match the value of my dollars. I refuse to give the park any benefit of the doubt for opening day food issues. It's not like it has 30+ years of data to look at. It's not like there's not enough time to train. If you have to replace most of the staff that means you're not doing enough to keep the staff from year to year. If you can't find enough bodies to work that means you are not paying enough. From everything I read it seems last weekend was good for the most part. But KI is a business, we love it but it's a business. If we don't expect the best we won't get it.
