I think you all (the people who don’t think it’s a big deal) are missing the point either purposely or on accident. 1: It has a higher death rate than the flu 2: it’s a vascular swelling disease. Which means that if you don’t die then you have a higher risk of organ failures and strokes. I think these two situations are not alike at all. Coney is still easily accessible by major highways and is part of a major city area. Many go to Coney for the pool while the rides were a great bonus. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

With the trams it’s not always going to be best for people who can. It was always a way to help people who have trouble. You have kids and no stroller? Doesn’t matter if it’s 2 rows or 30 it’s a long haul. If you are older and need frequent breaks but didn’t park in handicap, the tram helps. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Let’s not forget that to get to GL is/was a nightmare as well. CP is no easy drive either. But GL was way way worse. We take for granted that KI is right off a major highway. Just a few miles north from a major interchange as well. A lot of these parks were local parks that grew and people visited. KI was planned (very well IMO) from the beginning. Working as an advocate I hate when people try to demean and put down those with disabilities. Your comment came off negative in that aspect. It made it sound like we should be upset because they used the access they needed. Because families as a majority don’t plan trips based on roller coasters they base it on things for the whole family to do. Plus if it’s being touted as a destination park, then families usually do something 1-2x per year. If they choose OASIS over KI then that hurts KI Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
