  1. As compared to Busch, Disney, and Universal? I missed where they purposely call rides the wrong names.... Also at those 3, they have bigger crowds and yet find a way to have quick service at their restaurants..... They are professional and have fun.... it's a juvenile mindset that to have fun we must all fall to the lowest common denominator..... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. The waits not the problem.... possibly the under staffed, under trained, poorly managed, stuff is the problem.... if you don't complain to the management then they assume every thing is good. If you don't tell about the rude employee they can't get trained to be better. There is a difference between being patient and being complicit..... Also you assume people are upset because they make observations... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Professionalism... that's all Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I don't think we will see it return. It's given up too much land. That golf course? Not owned by Ki... Resort? No longer owned.... Great Wolf Lodge? Not owned... It would take a great capital expense to repurchase this land at modern day evaluation. So no, a tram won't run from one place to another, sadly no it won't return. It's a regional park - maybe. It's a good park but so much has to be done to make it a destination.... "Come drive 8 hours to visit Kings Island, park in our barely visible parking lines, walk 3/4 of a mile to the front gate, leave grandma at the front gate and maybe she can enjoy the smoking gardens and a show in the festhause. Her hearing is bad enough it won't be too loud for her"..... In all seriousness, KI does a lot right but what it gets wrong would seriously need to be fixed before it becomes a resort park Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Or they could properly train staff and be ready.... not like every year has the same problems of terrible line management, slow food service, disinterested and rude employees.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Same arguments that myself and many others made last year. Goes with speiling. There is a level of professionalism that goes with the job. Yes that's funny they made a reference to a coaster that cost a bunch of money, sent people to the hospital, and made a joke out of it. I hope no one who was injured or a family member of the injured heard the jokes...... Also to the typical guest, name rides are confusing. If someone hears them call it SoB and then looks it up and finds out it's not the right name, guess who loses credibility? The park. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. And that's the kind of stuff I hate when they do it in the park Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. To get rid of bug you have got to invest a pretty penny into that place.... also great fix that up but 2 mins down the road come get robbed at the gas station. .... it's not in a great part of town at all Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. And shrimp there as well Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I hope it doesn't police. Just let discussions go where they go. If you don't want to know avoid certain topics and ride the ride Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. True if The Racer were to leave it would be a Thunder Road to walk down.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. As long as there's not a lunch and dinner window we should be good Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Nothing says majestic like a large smoking section near the carousel and non working floral clocks .... :/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Any could happen... will it probably not... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Why would they post it and say "share if you miss". Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Not doing a KIC meetup ever and meeting Terp or the rest of the good ones that have left these boards either voluntarily or else Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. And I'm in the opposite camp. We really like the meal plan. It allows us some freedom and it's cheaper than what we'd normally do. We hit up almost all character buffets. They can range from 35-60/adult. The meal plan made it easier to eat the buffet and still eat lunch (or light dinner) plus a snack each day. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. You can literally say that about anything. If the interest isn't there, then KI won't be around. I think the poster was just saying that Cirque which has been around some time now, has found a way to keep reinventing itself and has the possibility to be around for decades. 19. Back up and running. Thank you sir. I missed this place. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Tapatalk says to let you know that it is still down. I know now you said it was up and running but maybe not?
  21. I learn the darnedest things here. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I feel it's good to mention that many of the things people are saying are good are from the early Paramount days. The bad is mainly from the CBS days.... Also if there was a contract limit that B&M can't work with a park within X amount of miles, why is the blame on paramount for not using said company Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Could be really cool. The one they did for Monsters Inc 2 or whatever they were promoting looked good as well Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. That's not terrible... $82 a person for a group of 8. Ears are $25? Ice cream 5? Depending on the food and snacks let's say $10. So that's about $40 per person for the viewing area, a nice looking tent with furniture, and a rest spot. Maybe not great if you go by your self and family but if you go with 3 other couples, or two families of four.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Still though that's 1/50th of the pool lost each day? I'm sure you are right but that seems like a lot but who knows. Puddles can dry out in an hour so I believe it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
