The "WI" in the part number is the B&M designation for their Wing Riders. You can see in this picture that Raptor at Gardaland only had three bolt holes.
-
"X-Works" is the customer code on all of their track now. It is not a designation for KI.
-
Edit see below - double post.

^Thanks for posting!

They better go get their track back from China then!

Some of the pieces are there...just not everyone has put them together yet.

Haha I was irrationally excited when my gf started recognizing coaster manufacturers as well. Thanks for the TR!

My brother and I got stuck on the break run on Beast Friday for about 10-15 minutes. One of the ride-ops walked down to the train and apprised us of the situation within 2-3 minutes of us getting stuck. As someone who has panic attacks myself I can say that it was certainly an uncomfortable situation but certainly not something I would be calling 911 about.

^Knotts' coaster is opening this year.

Out of those I would really only call Beast a 'signature ride' to today's park guests.

With Firehawk's reliability always a little iffy I would start with Firehawk and FoF and then go to Backlot or Invertigo. The rest will be easy to hit on a Wednesday this early in the season.

Holiday World Crowds
thekidd33 replied to frisbeefan's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
My family has gone on the first Friday in June the past three years. The major water rides (Mammoth, Wildebeest, Zinga, Bukali) all get pretty decent lines (30+ mins) but the coasters have all been 5-10 minute waits after the opening rush gets through. All in all it has been a good time to be there. -
Remember that Leviathan uses B&M's older four across trains and not the staggered stadium seating like Diamondback has.

IRON MAN coming to Disneyland Park?
thekidd33 replied to bkroz's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
Six Flags licensing agreement is for DC Comics characters (Batman, Superman, The Flash, Green Lantern, etc.). Iron Man is a Marvel property, one I can't imagine Disney letting them use. -
Not to mention a million names could be trademarked between now and the time the ride announcement is made. Yes, the name Banshee fits the teasers, but I wouldn't bet the farm that that is the name the ride will have.

"Transformers" Opening Date at USF?
thekidd33 replied to jzarley's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
Universal? Sure! I hope KI doesn't go as far as giving their family coasters "ride limits" and having "medical professionals" available as you exit the ride. -
Busch had exclusivity clause with B&M on the Dive Coaster model for a number of years after SheiKra and Griffon were built.

It isn't my favorite.

^Looking at Google Maps (which still shows S.O.B.) it would appear that the land in the spot you highlighted has been cleared/leveled. It looks like there were several piles of dirt and rock that are no longer there. All the trees still seem to be there though.

Pictures of the aforementioned footers can be seen here (about halfway down): http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php?/topic/27263-early-signs-of-2014-expansion/page-2
