  1. Thanks Don! You're awesome!
  2. From the construction views, all that needs to be done is concrete work around the entrance to the ride. Everything else is looking fantastic! Any idea if Mystic Timbers will make you get a locker?
  3. What exactly does that red sign say in the queue? I couldn't make it out?
  4. Is it just me, or does it seem like the MV RR won't have enough clearance underneath Mystic Timbers? Just curious.
  5. Not to burst anyone's bubble here, but I like the new park map. I really hope they take my suggestion into consideration. That was, bring in park maps that you can buy for $1.00-$2.00 like Cedar Point does. The one's that cover up a good portion of the wall like Fatheads do of sports players or stadiums. I want to add that to my wall.
  6. I wrote a review on Kings Island's official facebook page of why I love coming to the park over and over again. I grew up going to Kings Island with my whole family. We used to go camping at the Jellystone/Kings Island campground for a few days as well as go into the park for a few days. What I enjoyed the most as a kid was interacting with the Hannah Barbara characters; Yogi Bear was my favorite! I had a picture of me and Yogi at the campground, but it's lost somewhere now. Aside from the characters, I loved how back in the paramount days, every ride had a feel to the movies to them. I remember when The Bat was called Top Gun. I loved how they themed that to being in the movie with Tom Cruise and Kelly Mcgillis. The Beast has always been my favorite. When I was shorter, I had to learn how to brace myself for the out of control experience that The Beast throws at you. Still does, which is why it's still my number 1 roller coaster! I agree with what others said about the atmosphere that the park provides. I still get that chill in my body when I get into the Kings Island parking lot. It's sad that the campground is no longer there. I will always always remember our family camping fun we had after a long day in the park. It's also sad that Yogi Bear is no longer there, but on the other hand, I really love looking for Charlie Brown. He's a blockhead just like me.
  7. ^^ Pretty soon, it will say please don't disturb the operator. What's in the shed may come after you. Lol
  8. I'm registered and ready to go for Coaster stock this May. I'm also registered for The Beast tour, but forgot what time I picked. Is there a way to check that on www.visitkingsisland.com/ ?
  9. Yes! I hope that shirt is still around come opening weekend.
  10. It's been a week since I posted last. Glad the last time I was on over the course of a week, my question was answered. Yay! Now I'm anxious to see what the front car looks like. As far as the hats go, I like the green one. No particular reason, just the fact that it's green. I know I'm weird. I'm hoping that one Mystic Timber shirt returns from last fall that was like black and greyish. Anyone know what I'm talking about?
  11. ^ Where's Charlie Brown when you need him? Good Grief!
  12. Not to get off topic here, but have the trains arrived for Mystic Timbers yet?
  13. ^ Maybe they'll try that out after labor day. That way people can get some good footage of Mystic Timbers while riding the train.
  14. Well what if they used today's NASCARS and created their own theme with it? I know Cedar Fair isn't that good with theme, but they could try it anyway.
  15. I vaguely remember this ride, but what exactly was the smurf ride? Was it a water ride?
  16. I was just thinking about this ride today. If Days of Thunder still operated at Kings Island, would it still be a popular ride or would it be more like, "meh".? Maybe they wouldn't call it days of thunder anymore, but they could call it Nascar - the ride or something more clever than that.
  17. How can they be about ready to put trains on the track yet? They haven't finished that section where the tunnel is yet, or the shed? There's not even controls in there yet.
  18. I sent Kings Island's PR team a suggestion recently about that. I mentioned that they should have a giant wall size park map of the park similar to what Cedar Point sells for $1.00-$2.00. I want to add that to my collection.
  19. For those on Facebook, they posted a picture of the station on Kings Island's official page. I'm not sure how to post pictures on here in a post, but it's there; I swear!
  20. Where in the course of the ride is this at?
  21. Thank you Stashua for those pictures. Becareful about taking pictures and driving though. Only the second picture out of those, I couldn't see Mystic Timbers, but other than that, this ride is going to grace the Kings Island skyline in 2017.
  22. I was there in 2015, but had to leave early the next day so I could study my math the day before a test on that Monday. The food was really good. Plus I was able to see Charlie Brown!
  23. Hey just curious, but does anyone have pictures of the station work currently being done? I saw a picture on one of Kings Island fanpage's but can't find it now. If somebody see it on their facebook, could you share it on here please? I'll give he/she a dollar!
  24. It's hard for me to answer that right now. Usually when me and my sister go, we decide right there and then.
