Even timeless characters like Looney Tunes have since been forgotten. The Peanuts are, for lack of a better term, basic and easily marketable to almost everyone.

To be honest- I hope 601 would be repainted blue like how it was at KD. -

The wheels were sent to Tweetise Railroad to be worked on- hence the absence of the wheels in the picture above. I'm sure they want to get it up and running on the off chance that one of their other locomotives breaks down. Its been not operating for quite some time so its been a pretty slow process. -
Here's the issue with what your argument, @RuthlessAirtime- Son of Beast seriously injured a lot of people. Remembering the ride is one thing, but paying homage is another. Its hard to pay homage to something that was responsible for a ton of injuries- that's why it was a PR disaster like @rhyano said. Memorials merely recognize the ride's existence and impact on the industry. You never see the park post flashback photos of Son of Beast unless its relating to its demolition. What's wrong with being original? I'm sure we'd all love to see an original coaster concept as opposed to countless Beast spin-offs

I'll be doing Busch Gardens Tampa next. Here's a preview of the non operating #4, one of two the original locomotives built for the park https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=1814887368596234&set=pcb.2287648454582677&type=3&theater -

I honestly think wing coasters in the US are on the decline. We only have GateKeeper, X-FLight, Wild Eagle, and Thunderbird and those debuted in the early to mid 2010s. In my opinion I don't get the appeal of current B&M wing coasters aside from the main draw- the trains. Near miss elements enhance the experience significantly but other than that I don't see the hype. -
Not a half-been- its actually my favorite ride in the park! However favorite doesn't mean best. Its all subjective as to which is the "better ride" but I think people can love both. When I ride coasters I don't go by "which ride is better", but rather "which ride I want to ride more."

You just added "imo" bro- doesn't seem sincere. I'd say that The Beast is more historic than anything which adds to its greatness. It can't compete with the newer woodies out there now but its legacy keeps it alive and well. Its not a coaster that can really my compared to other coasters as its unique and truly one of a kind. IMO

True, but Nickelodeon became extremely popular during the 90s babies generation. With the exception of Spongebob, I doubt kids today would recognize Timmy Turner, Jimmy Neutron, the Rugrats, the Wild Thornberries, etc like the kids of my generation did. The Peanuts, while not as popular, have lasted a lot longer and are multi-generational- similar to Sesame Street. In a way, you had to grow up in the time Nickelodeon shows came out to fully appreciate them where as the Peanuts characters can reach people from different time periods. At the end of the day, its all about recognizable brands- more people across multiple generations could easily identify Snoopy in a picture before they could point out Tommy from Rugrats or Huckleberry Hound from the Hanna Barbera days.

I have a hard time putting one in my top 3 vs the other- hopefully if/when the giga comes I can just say they're both in my top 5 KI coasters. In terms of The Beast getting work done, I'd say Racer needs it more by a long shot- those airtime hills are extremely painful for me. I don't known if its just the trains or the aging track but I only ride it if I have to anymore.

Snoopy has made an appearance in the Findley Market Opening Day Parade that the city hosts every year to kick off the first game of the Cincinnati Reds' season. I think it was only in 2010 that he marched in the parade to promote the new Planet Snoopy- several other Peanuts characters sometimes attend mascot events at Great American Ballpark.
-
No. Snoopy is a timeless character that has been in the hearts of families for decades. I'm 21 and still love the Peanuts. In fact I still have all my Peanuts VHS tapes in my media drawer that I crack out during each holiday season. Snoopy has been a great brand for the park and the chain as a whole so he's not going anywhere anytime soon. Kinda rude to say that only the elderly like Snoopy.

I've ridden both Sheikra and Valravn in my lifetime. Sheikra was my first 200+ft coaster and my first "oh sh*t" coaster I've ever ridden. I honestly prefer Valravn because of the two additional inversions and the brief yet picturesque views of the rest of the park. The one thing that Sheikra is superior in is the splashdown just because its so unique. We need more dive coasters with more elements. -

There are some rides that could benefit from vest restraints: Vortex, Invertigo, Raptor, Rougarou. I think there was a specific reason why Rougarou wasn't given vest restraints but I can't remember why. -

You hit the nail on the head. Dive Coasters are compact and usually consist of large immalmans and slight variations in elements depending on what park you go to. Give a standard floorless like Hydra, Scream, Kraken, or Medusa a dive machine drop and trains and you'd have a winner. -
I've never been to any Six Flags or Busch Gardens holiday celebreation so would anyone be able to compare/contrast them to Winterfest?

I think its because I love how its rendered on the park map and would love to see it look like that in real life. Rougarou and Farenheit have my favorite coaster color scheme with orange track and blue supports.

The zoo actually had a coaster at one point Two parks come to mind when I think of potential Dive Coasters- California's Great America and strangely enough World's of Fun. I'm still shocked that we haven't seen a dive coaster come to a single Six park. -
I wish I had more faith in Intamin because I wouldn't mind a blitz coaster at the park. Maverick is in my top 10 favorite coasters because of the launches, but more than that the beyond 90° drop, the ejector airtime, and the rapid transitions.
-
@VortexBFForever might disagree King Cobra got repainted before it was nixed, so did Shockwave at KD, as well as countless others. Not painting a coaster doesn't mean its leaving; if you went by that logic, Diamondback, Racer, and Adventure Express would also be on the chopping block.
