  1. At least not as bad as Fabio's bird strike on Apollo's Chariot https://www.cp24.com/news/it-sort-of-exploded-on-us-bird-collides-with-leviathan-roller-coaster-splatters-canada-s-wonderland-guests-1.6404065?fbclid=IwAR0wELRXLwiYYnMTCrHF1KoiKESy773KUZlDnVmDLweCQI5BhU0su87RWZk
  2. Based on the guest outrage finding out it is the smaller ride, the park gonna demo the whole update and give us nothing outta spite
  3. Growing list of VIP amenities...has Prestige offered a growing list? Seem to be a shrinking list
  4. You will have to post when you go to Shack and have a great experience LOL. I have never found it to be a good substitute for Chic-Fil-A. I tried Shack a lot its first year and it was more miss than hit. I'll give it a once a year try and it is usually not very edible. Or I get the salad so it isn't a big deal if the chicken is rubber or hard as a rock LOL.
  5. If we were getting the larger one it would have been called duo spin instead of solo spin
  6. If you look you can find other spots worked on as well.
  7. Yes they were running both on Sunday as well.
  8. Rent the pickleball courts when they have so many free options around the city....
  9. Coming to a Center near some https://www.wcpo.com/news/local-news/hamilton-county/anderson-township/zero-tolerance-deputies-cracking-down-after-continued-unruly-behavior-by-kids-at-anderson-towne-center
  10. Those are great shots. You should send to Google LOL. They need to be in their ads about how great the camera is. Blows my Samsung away lol
  11. ^How much did you have to pay for them to put the KIC logo on the roof Cool shots - what kinda camera?
  12. It's these types of posts showing the inconsistent quality of these in-house offerings that shows why having chain restaurants in the park are still important to some people. Whether you like or not Skyline or LaRosa's or Subway or Chic-Fil-A, those that do like it at least know with a smaller dispersion of what to expect when ordering compared to the in-house offerings. I quit getting Chicken Shack for example because more times than not the chicken was unchewable. For guests not on the meal plan, forking out almost $20 for two deli thin pieces of meat or an unchewable piece of meat isn't worth it. At least at Skyline or Chic they knew what they were getting. Sure it may costs more than outside of the park, but they know what they are getting. I think @KIghostguynailed it perfectly when he said Grain & Grill is a perfect meal plan restaurant. Those with a meal plan will be less likely to get completely upset and complain to guest services over the meals mentioned above, whereas the once a year guest will make a beeline to Guest Services to complain about the quality and small portion for $20.
  13. I'm listening right now to a know it all telling people around us in line that Vortex was sinking and is why it was removed and he is adamant he is correct lol. He said a train flew off during preseason testing LOL.
  14. Well it does say Delirium and Drop Tower are on ERT for Coasterstock, so maybe?
  15. Just testing
  16. Just remember they say FL doesn't cause you to wait any longer in the regular line LOL
  17. The return of the couches and bigger cups in the same week. Whoa they better slow down LOL. They can't keep up this pace of returning items LOL. Are bottled drinks next or is that expecting too much LOL.
  18. And some credit cards will charge a fee for international purchases.
  19. Unfortunately that is par for the course it seems for Steel Vengeance.
  20. In the same general vicinity. And I was mistaken (slightly LOL). It is a football stadium on private property adjacent to the park that would be used for concerts and that raised the concerns of City Council of it competing against their existing venue in the vicinity.. https://www.cincinnati.com/story/news/2023/01/27/thrown-upon-us-developers-face-criticism-over-blue-ash-stadium-design/69845880007/
  21. Wow it seems more parks have had fights on opening weekend than previous years....or they just happened to make the news. Either way, society is changing.
  22. Shhh....don't give them any ideas on taking away operating days LOL. Thread discussing the tourney here:
  23. Not saying this will happen, but Timberwolf could co-exist with a concert facility across the street. The Beach Waterpark was installed in 1985 and that didn't stop Kings Island from building Soak City in 1989 and they both co-existed for many years. The Beach hung on far longer than I thought it would when Soak City (well WaterWorks) was included with park admission and season passes. Depending on how the concert venue is setup (are they aligned with Ticketmaster for example), Timberwolf would still provide a venue for the "independent" acts that are not aligned with TicketMaster. So they could each draw different acts and demographics. I think the bigger concern could be the talked about concert venue in Blue Ash. If that goes thru, depending on the alignment with Ticketmaster or not could impact if the Tennis center builds a concert venue. Isn't it ironic that the namesake of the Tennis Center took Chiquita headquarters to Charlotte and now their namesake venue may have seen better days due to the tournament following in their footsteps and moving to Charlotte.
  24. That was a concern when this company bought it last year. Charlotte loves taking Greater Cincinnati things LOL. If Charlotte or some other City wants it bad enough, they will throw enough incentives that Mason/Warren County can't compete with.
