You know, the sign they put up when they don't staff the lot at the end of the night lol. So people pay for Prestige and a few that bought said pass take too many bottled drinks so they eliminate a paid benefit, yet so much theft from stores of bottled drinks and people taking water cups and filling with soda with no recourse...crime pays apparently...

I suspect those that bought the pass did so for one or more these reasons: Preferred Parking Bottled drinks and snacks Front of the line pass Lounge The way it was marketed initially was that preferred parking was a guarantee, now it is subject to availability. That would be like saying the season long FL is subject to availability. It was marketed, promoted, and sold as bottled water and snacks and then that was taken away. Many bought Prestige after walking by the Lounge last year and saw what was being offered to only have it removed weeks later. I know people with handicap plates that bought Prestige just so they could show up later since the handicap lot fills quickly and the preferred is basically at the same general location (just other side of walkway). I know people with allergies to the dyes in drinks so they cannot even get water from the Coke machine since they share a drink with the water dispenser. They would buy bottled water and essentially decided to go with Prestige as essentially their bottled water drink plan. So they have kept the front of the line pass and the lounge, and of course the two free guests, but is it worth 3x the price now? And then the lounge for Soak City is being marketed as only having seating and no other amenities. Unless some additional benefits show up or they restore some of what was lost, I see many not renewing Prestige next year.

Yep...now just imagine all the folks that bought said pass after visiting the lounge last year when it had bottled drinks and all you want variety of snacks and purchased pass based on that experience and now get cooler water in flimsy cups and they ration the snacks. Many call it the bait and switch. At least they are Lay's this year. For a while last year it switched to no name chips lol.. Wait till you see Soak City where all KI mentions is seating...well exclusive seating... and no mention of water or snacks or TVs...

Exactly. Let's hope this is a test and they bring back bottled drinks, or at least bottled water. I am sure many people got prestige for the convenience of a bottled drink with a lid. Those dinky flimsy cups and cooler water don't cut it for most people. Or offer a Coke freestyle machine in permanent area. But I don't see that happening as they need to have guest turnover and not spend a lot of time in there so that there is room for all the prestige passholders lol.

At least the water is presented well and not some generic orange cooler like you see in the ride stations lol

Overheard some people this morning looking at The Vortex plot of land and trying to claim last week Vortex was still standing LOL.

True, but at the same time, Prestige holders paid quite a bit more for this experience. They haven't done many things right to convince people at this point to renew the Prestige pass. Many experienced buyers remorse within a week or two of purchasing as the items and amenities that were available when they purchased said pass disappeared. Many have called it a bait and switch.

Cirque Imagine had similar lines for the last few shows as well....

True, but what about Soak City VIP only amenity being exclusive seating - are you ok with no fusion water, no TV, no snacks?

Would everyone prefer if they waited until mid-May or Memorial Day to open.....

Sorry for double post, but here are the "benefits" flyer at the VIP lounge. The VIP lounge in Soak City entitles you to.... exclusive seating...no mention of fusion water or snacks.... Saw several times today Prestige holders not having access to the limited exclusive seating in the VIP area...

It only makes sense to move the VIP next to the crapper as that is what most people think happened to the Prestige benefits

So either VIP lounge didn't change locations or Adventure Express exit is now next to the restrooms or they are not finished updating the FAQ .... Nice to see they eliminated an hour per day from the Lounge schedule...

I can already see the "exclusive" entrance for Prestige holders being the longest line at opening due to how many were sold LOL. But hey, the park still has a few days to send a notice of where the VIP lounge has been relocated to; how one accesses the preferred lot (do you have to "reserve" early like one purchases the lot pass or is it a flash the pass and they let you know if there is availability; where the exclusive entrance is (left, middle, or center of turnstiles or the old Paramount pass entrance); where one gets the front of line pass (it is guest services or did they set up a kiosk somewhere to do it or get it at VIP lounge), what fruit will be placed in the coolers, etc. Or they simply forgot about the biggest park spenders and let you figure out (or intentionally didn't notify to let this be the gripe and take heat off all the bait and switch they did....)
