I'm sure I'll enjoy it thoroughly I've watched plenty of vids and watched reviews it seems like a fantastic coaster. I will still miss BBW, it was the best Arrow Suspended out there IMO. Now Bat holds that title, nothing wrong with that, but BBW's drop into the Rhine..beautifully fantastic. I just hope I get the Forest or Wolf theme, not the storm, doesn't look as spectacular at least on video.

Fantastic show, I've watched it a few times now. Best part is how relaxed the performers are with everything. Plus with me knowing French and most of them are from Quebec, it was nice to kind of get to know them a bit more personally than the typical thank you, selfie deal. Get a chance to go in and say hi to them and thank them, they really enjoy that kind of stuff. I mean I didn't think me standing up, and turning around and telling everyone else to get up would have heralded that much thanks. During the applause one of the performers looked and nodded at me because of it, they really do enjoy our gratitude. So go, enjoy the show, relax in the AC, and just watch as this group of performers just perform these excellent stunts for about 25 minutes, def. as advertised, something to not miss in the park. Merci Beaucoup mes amis!

Banshee is fantastic from up top, quite a site to see having it all there underneath you. Plus free fall rides are still fantastic, it's something that never gets old to me

Random security measures or practices to keep muscle memory are very important to the overall security of a site. Also added, noone will ever know if there was an informant or security issue in the park that day. Security will always focus first on the safety of all patron in the park, that is their job. This is one way to deter, prevent, and appropriately enforce their policies they are set to carry out. Be happy for the most part as this is only a one day deal. Go to some SIX parks, you get this deal every time you enter. Take Fiesta Texas, your first 30 minutes of the day might be getting screened by security to get through the gate. KI, how many days out of the year do you excessively wait to get past the entrance plaza.

Doing BGW later next month I believe with Lindz. First time since BBW was torn down, very excited to enjoy that park again. Probably will do the coaster tour too

Cedar Point Trip Report 06-16 thru 06-19
thedevariouseffect replied to OleShawn's topic in Trip Reports
1. We seem rude and ticked at times, and granted sometimes we may be, however, I assure you many there enjoy the jobs. Just about every ride location has at least two returners on it, some rides more, and some rides people who have returned for seasonals 3/4+ years. 2. The only area with Blacktop is Frontier Trail, KI has about the same possibly more around Tower/Tower Gardens, back to Coney by the clock, etc. 3. CP has never had theming, it just does rides, can't say anything there. 4. They do have things like Reds Grille, even more so. There's Famous Daves, TGI Fridays on the Beach, Chickies & Petes, Breakwater Cafe, etc. the list goes on KI has only two sit down restaurants within the park, CP has numerous on the peninsula and several in the park 5. Ride Corkscrew in 21, press your feet against the front wall, and head back, press your shoulders into the OTSR, no issues whatsoever. Test riding it everyday, I can tell you, it's smoother than you think, Ride limp yeah you'll get jostled around, but ride with me the way I ride, it'll give you more airtime on the bunny hill than you ever would give it credit for. 6. Dunno why everyone keeps saying Maggie is so terribly bad and hurts them, never had an issue. Only thing I can attribute is people with small legs, in that case nothing I can do to fix that issue. 7. Mantis will hurt the boys, you NEED to stand fully erect (no pun intended but pretty clever), there's a reason over the mic we stress that, feet straight back, stand nice and tall, etc. It is important. Be happy you didn't get stopped MCBR or on the safety brake, you'd know. 8. Restraints can be an issue, but if you learn how to ride and where you eliminate those issues. Look at Beast, if you ride in the very last row, you'll instantly know you probably weren't thinking clearly. However, we all know ride middle rowed seats and that eliminates the jostle. Just have to apply the same practices to KI. Maggie, four clicks min, nice snug belt in 15/16, great ride. Corkscrew, already explained, Mantis already explained. Raptor just keep your head back and straight in row 11/14, 81/84. Gatekeeper, only Left side, and prefer rear. Go again, learn from the mistakes, and ride again and enjoy the park. The parks are part of the same chain but are different personalities for now at least. KI is a family park with mostly attractions everyone of any age can enjoy and respect. CP is a worldwide destination park that caters to teens-up moreover than anything and targets the adrenaline junkies. It is only now in recent years has targeted families in the park, as they realize they spend the most money and garnish the most profits for the company. -

Heard there was a leak and that the fire hadn't been fixed. Typical Cedar Fair -

There's already a raccoon in the T Rex, his name is Rocky. Battle was over before you got there -
I just look at the park as a whole, Kings Island, and enjoy everything it has to offer and not worry about what name a space has on the map

Backlot, theming poorly maintained, and not as much fun as it used to be. Great starting coaster for youngers and beginner enthusiasts and neat idea, but doesn't do much for me anymore. Still great for pictures though, I'd love to go in the infield and actually get pictures though.

I love how the news goes crazy, especially when safety systems engage and do exactly what they are supposed to do. In my head I see Engage Billy Mays Mode: HEY GUYS THE RIDE DID WHAT IT WAS MEANT TO, FLAWLESSLY IN FACT.. Surprised with this one though they actually apparently evaced Millie with the FUNicular (inside joke). Usually in power issues or to do a ride restart you can adjust the PLC to allow the diesel motor to engage and restart the lift. Sounds like a blocking issue and they couldn't clear the trains down below too, but can't be too positive, wasn't there, and can't see the control panel.
-
Other systems at Disney already have done that, get a card, come back at a certain time, sounds familiar doesn't it Again, if you have ride ops able to watch the line and a way to contact them/security via voice/phone, the problem works itself out. At crowd aside from screening guests to make sure they adhere to the rides SOP, you watch the queue. People are very predictable as to where they line jump. You see the same things every day, day in and out when working there.

no..worse things than that happened.. -
Leave your belongings in your car..I learned the very hard and unfortunate way last year. Plus with the recent theft from the new lockers that should tell you something. Those who want what is yours will do a lot to get it. Car is the best deterrent in the park honestly aside from leaving it at home
-
One of the exact reasons this won't last long. The only best deterrent for line jumping is watchful eyes and a way for guests to voice this to security or ride ops
-
Why pick up and move a whole station?
-
Even worse than The Banshee...That Banshee
-
Interesting but I don't know if they will keep that up everyday forever. We shall see what happens but I will say that's quite effective

To cause damage to someone like that isn't just two pushes on the chest. If I walk up to you and started its going to be uncomfortable and a bit of pain, but usually you're not cracking ribs or anything till at least a minute or so into a code and that's on geriatrics, normal adults only had one guy I ever coded my age and he never got cracked ribs. But it does get way worse for medical. Saw a bag of K hung above 1L NS..and the bag of K was bigger..sigh
-
Lol..flash drives on a military base.. I still have my USB DEVICES UNAUTHORIZED sticker all over every USB port on my desktop The 1394 port, however
-
You think this is bad, try reading them talk about medical stuff, even worse medical on TV shows.. If a patient codes and they respond as they do on TV, they're ganna die..compression shorts push harder than these guys do to their chests.
