Already think I know where you're going.. They already do a verify call for the rides, that's for train/platform. Visual scan is queue, ride area, etc. All this solved with order of clears, safety zones, redundancy, and lastly EXCELLENT TRAINING.

Plus when scanning, they aren't really scanning..Look up Visual Scan on Youtube..just delays dispatch for nothing and employees don't take it seriously post accident

No some rides at KI have had to do that...Unfortunately..but safety first As long as we don't do it like a SIX park..oh my, the day that happens, it's time to fire a few Ride Op managers and bring some from up North to correct the issues.

^Lol..Think there was a bit more to it than that..I'm sure I'll hear details later..besides with being an arrest it's going to eventually get out on record, and then Sandusky Register will def. report it knowing them.

Do not take a knife..I got dinged for that before, fell off my belt, opened it up, wiped it clean, closed it and put it back on the clip, someone flipped out & called security. I got searched, I explained to them and they understood but it's a big no go in the park unfortunately. Can't tell you how many times my EMT knife has been handy in field..so many accidents over this window I used it for.

^^Wonder what caused it..Some people mentioned they serve Liquor/Alcohol in the rec center..dunno if that's valid or not. I mean when I was there the rec center was a Subway, Wifi, broken cardio equipment, rusty weights, and a pool table..Classy. Assaulting a cop though..wow..I'm waiting for more details.

I left mid afternoon and came back by about 1800. We planned on staying the whole weekend so we were ok taking a two hour break to nap/eat food/etc. That morning ERT I destroyed the group with constant riding. We basically marathoned a few 1000 openers

You were late, I was already in the park You all had donuts for breakfast, I had Sausage Gravy & Biscuits.. TWICE

Next time it's on me, and we'll have to have a rib eating contest, I've had them since our visit, they're quite tasty.

1. This was Sandusky's fault, not the point. 2. The park was working with Dusky to make sure it was working, and I'm sure this was a 24hr operation. Think, every toilet, fountain, sink, ice machine, etc. all had to be flushed and checked for quality 3. Safety prevails I made phone calls too, they did not ever state at least to me the park would be open Sun. They directly stated they were going to try and open as early as possible and to keep calling back to check for updates Who assured you that, I doubt the park actually said "Yes we will be open Sunday" How do you think I feel, I used two days of leave (takes me a month to accrue) left Saturday afternoon after the announcement but still had to pay for an off site hotel in Port Clinton through Sunday, and also disappointed I couldn't enjoy my home park all weekend. This was a completely unforseen circumstance that the park literally had no control over, nor could you pin this on at all, Dusky had the failure not the park. The park isn't going to open a water treatment facility. If that's the case they'll install a power grid to fuel their power hungry rides too right, because that 2003 blackout and a few small power losses since warrant that. Might as well start the CPCG (Cedar Point Coast Guard) to protect His Majesty, Mr Ouimet on sovereign ground.

I'm happy I have an excellent liquor store only a few minutes away from base, and the Class Six on base orders pretty decent selections. I am more of a Bourbon anyday kind of person, however..Nothing to me replaces a beer and burger..I don't see myself sipping Bourbon with Five Guys..Now I can see that with a Dartmunder Gold however.
