It’s probably roast from what couldn’t be sold at G&G.

Potential 4th/5th coaster for Planet Snoopy?
Tr0y replied to SonofBaconator's topic in Coming Attractions
I’ve mentioned this before in another thread but I would gut out Boo Blasters being that the ride itself is just in an abysmal state and replace it with something similar to Darkoaster at BGW. That would make an awesome family coaster addition to Planet Snoopy. It would also be another coaster in the lineup for Winterfest and a potential year round operation at Kings Island. Call it Snoopy’s Ghoster Coaster (homage to Scooby-doo while keeping the peanuts theming and name) -
No, it’s not to benefit the other parks. It is to benefit Kings Island by being cheap.

The Amusement Park Railroad Thread

I wish Kings Island offered a behind the scenes tour. I’d gladly give them my money. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Fragrance infused air!

I just eat whatever the park puts on my plate.

What ever Kings Island does I’m just going to enter the front gate, open my wallet and say "take what you think it fair".

Is it me or have all but a few bees have disappeared from Kings Island this season? The outdoor Coca-Cola refill stations used to be swarming in them last year. Now the only bees I have seen were carpenter bees around Race for your life Charlie Brown and the swarm in the parking lot that made the news. Has anyone else noticed this?

From what I have experienced, and what others have experienced with the other parks within Cedar Fair in comparison to KI. It’s pretty evident the bean counters are short changing us Kings Island to make up for the excessive use. Kings Island is the only park within Cedar Fair that I have been to that doesn’t serve brisket. CP, Carowinds, and KD does. Brisket is a more expensive cut of meat than pork and chicken which are basically the only options at KI. KI G&G uses portion control cups. KD’s does not. Kings Island charges extra for house sauces. KD does not. They need to charge more for the dining plan so we can have the same premium experience the other parks enjoy normally.

So much entitlement, we’re just fortunate we get anything.

Those are excellent ideas. An aggressive price increase would probably be beneficial as well.

Bit of a rant post but hearing people brag on FB how they go to the park to use their meal plan just to get to go containers of food is quite annoying. I’m all for getting your money’s worth, but don’t go bragging publicly about how you’re taking full advantage of the meal plan. You’re the reason why our food portions, quality and food options are limited.

Well considering workers walking around on a failing structure with no personal protective equipment would carry hefty fines from OSHA. I’m doubtful the structure is actually “failing.” My expectations remain low tho.

Well given the parks history on coaster announcements in the past decade we know that most announcements occur in August (Mystic Timbers being late July). We also know that site preparation for all these coasters started prior to announcement. So clearing Wolfpack now would make sense, the land is already cleared behind Banshee. RMC did mention Outpost 5 in a recent tweet this year, and there is still Son of Beast track standing in the station, and a station that can be used by RMC.. Action Zone has also not seen any major changes or additions since 2014, so if there was any major changes or additions coming to the park, that would be likely the area to see it. While these are all interesting and positive developments it could also mean absolutely nothing.

What’s one practical attraction you wouldn’t mind having two of?
Tr0y replied to SonofBaconator's topic in KI Polls
Maybe not so much two different loops but double the length of K.I & Miami Valley Railroad. -

An enterprise specifically the one at CGA. -
It doesn’t, Busch Gardens and Seaworld offer single use quick queue and platinum pass holders get 1 single use quick queue a visit. They also offer all season, and all day quick queue passes. They’ve had these offerings longer than Cedar Fair I have platinum and I’ve never noticed long quick queue lines. The only time I’ve noticed longer quick queue lines is for certain rides at night.

What is the worst roller coaster you've ever ridden?

Someone posted in a group on FB I’m apart of that, there are people at the SoB station. Obviously that doesn’t say much but it is interesting.

Busch Gardens Williamsburg does not have a pass holder lounge, like Tampa. I did however get to redeem one 7oz beer for free and was able to purchase two more 7oz beers for 50 cents each with my pass.

Colonial Vibes- silver2005's VA/MD trip TR and Planning
Tr0y replied to silver2005's topic in Trip Reports
My last visit to BGW was during the first week of June. The longest line I waited was Darkoaster with over an hour wait. I would definitely make that the first coaster to ride when you get the park, followed by Verbolten then Pantheon. It was a Sunday but I was able to ride every coaster. I probably could’ve got more re rides in if I rode Darkoaster first thing in the morning. As @johnjniehaus said the tours they offer are very good. I didn’t do the roller coaster insider tour but instead did the Railroad Steam Engine Tour. It was a very personal experience because I was the only one on the tour. More detail on my experience from the Railroad Steam Engine Tour here:
