True, but if they are in a contract to use the current IPs and Six Flags branding, I'd hope they would not remove it and have a clause to move it post season. If I were in Enchanted Parks management, I would seriously think about dropping any six flags branded item in legacy six flags parks. St Louis would be a challenge because it's always going to be called six flags by locals. That's going to be mighty challenging to switch the parks. Uniforms, signage, ads, vehicles, SOPs etc. It would be a perfect time for WOF to change the sound of their in park cartbulance to a siren from one of their worlds.

The end of the first quarter is upon us with no news of a closing date. Unless something is announced today or Monday, it will push into Q2. For simplicity in the books, I would conjecture it would make the most sense to take these parks out at the end of the quarter. But there are probably contractual obligations and logistical situations that could be holding it up.

Sometimes you have to have a loss leader. But then again, Six Flags is happy, evidently, with KI's numbers. It's weighted heavily towards pass holders, so they don't have to worry too much about making big and bold, just keep the pass holders happy. They'll continue this way until pass sales fall significantly. So in the eyes of KI leadership and or Six Flags leadership, there is no need to Kings Con. ACE was very transparent with their words, at least ACE leadership in that region seems to be not pleased.

ACE Eastern Great Lakes had planned on an event called KingsCon at KI in late May. This is now canceled due to high cost. I know enthusiasts are a small part of the population of park goers, but for this region of ACE to be this blunt does not bode well: With registration opening on Day of the Dragon and Bonus Round, we unfortunately have to announce the cancellation of KingsCon, our 2026 event at Kings Island. As we've stated before, costs and pricing are rising everywhere, but the cost for ERT quoted by Kings Island was significantly higher than ACE can afford as a 501(c)(3) non-profit. While we hope that we can continue working with the park and maintain a relationship that dates back 47 years, an annual event is not possible with the prices and minimums the park has in place. We're sorry for those of you who were excited for another Kings Island event like we were, but we hope to still see you at one of our many regional events this summer. Kings Island: don't bite the hand that feeds you. You may save nickles on the front end, but you will loose dollars on the flippity flip. BTW: It is now the end of March and nothing has been said of Coasterstock '26 that i know of.

Now if that don't beat all knowing you can tell when a bush has been obsconded!

^ The legacy six flags parks will not change overnight. Plus, you have to remember that Kings Island is one of, if not the only, CF park that ran all trains consistently. Besides that, he has only been on board a short while and has a lot of stuff to do. With the dire straights the company faces currently, revision of SOPs may not be top of mind. If things get even more shaken up with Jana flexing their activism, the board might completely change, and probably not for the better.

Will Schlitterbahn ( either Six Flags or Enchanted) have to rebrand? Or do you think the name will stay on both properties? I've never been, but it seems to me that the Schlitterbahn name could be valuable. They paid around 270 million for both of them if I remember correctly and it was in 2019. That's approximately $332 million today. Either the retained water park is worth a whole lot of money or the company way overpaid for two water parks.

Everything will stay the same this year, except they don't have a plan for add ons once the parks are divested, or so it seems. I saw that they were offering a $10 credit for meal plans? And they pulled the "plans are subject to change" mantra.

It looks great, but.... 1. That would be a nightmare for traffic on KI drive. Would probably want to route resort traffic on Western Row Road. 2. Would need more parking. 3. I'm sure Mason would want a much further setback. Your ideas have come such a long way over the years. I know you used AI, but I think this one is the best yet. But I have to ask: will it include a saloon or bar?

^ I have to have my phone all the time as it's a medical device. But there are times I wish I was freed from it. This new Fast Lane system forces the phone, as you said...most people are addicted to their phones of course, so it won't be that big of a deal. At least it's on a device that (most) already carry with them. In the big picture, it doesn't really affect me because I typically go when I know it's supposed to be slower, and I'm not into marathoning rides anymore...and my visits to the parks has dropped precipitously as I've been engrossed in other hobbies. Is it bad that after 3-4 hours at KI, I'm bored and ready to drive three hours home lol

I used the Flash Pass at Magic Mountain several years ago. It was a clunky device you had to carry around and it was not user friendly. It seems FUN is adapting too much of legacy SIX and making it more difficult to do business with customers.

Thank you. From recollection of around 2018 and prior I never recall seeing the arches barricaded at KI. To me it looks trashy like some of the legacy six flags parks Ive been to. I agree that Canada has the most pleasing appearance of the three, but that bridge is a pain to cross. KD's version is surpassed by ours with our refined look with the decorative white pilasters vs KD's fence. However, this is subjective.
