  1. Not sure if this goes here, but the app just sent me a notification about the First Rider Auction on Mystic Timbers
  2. I guess now you can say "Mystic Timbers" as your answer to that one, huh?
  3. ^ I checked with Blood Drums yesterday (8 months early, I know). They believe that the show will be coming back, but nothing is set yet. I will keep a watch out for this.
  4. A question on Holliwood Nights. How crowded is it? 8 hours of ERT looks awesome, especially with them being night rides.
  5. Still holding on to hopes there is a Passholder Preview Night
  6. Heres a thought that my wife threw out there. With Winterfest coming this year, will the park keep the main food stuffs stocked better come the end of the regular season?
  7. Here is a screen grabs from the 2015 and 2016 calendars. There were preview nights, but these were never listed on the calendars. Hmmm Source: Screen Caps from the KI websites in 2015 and 2016 respectively
  8. ^ I am really hoping that this means preview night.
  9. Club joined, now to get tickets. Getting excited. I will say this about GOCC, they are really quick to answer questions on Facebook.
  10. https://www.visitkingsisland.com/youth-programs/education-days Man, I wish they did this when I was in school
  11. Just checking the Ki site and saw that they have Education Days for 2017 set for the following 2017 Program Dates Friday, April 28 May 5, 12, 15 - 19, 26
  12. Do you need to have your coaster club membership in hand before you order your tickets or just have it when you go to register that day?
  13. Kudos to you guys that made this upgrade. I am really liking it
  14. I am really kicking this around. We would have to join a Coaster Club, but none of the sites that I have looked at have anything about their 2017 events or benefits. It looks like GOCC is the best fit for us. Maybe its the offseason and being under 100 days until opening that has me excited. The ERTs look like a good time. If I join a club, will everything get taken care of in time to make it. That is what I need to look at
  15. One thing I noticed is that it counts my views of my profile. Not a big deal, just something I noticed.
  16. With Winterfest this year, I am guessing that the Seasonal Employment aspect will go a little longer
  17. Wow, nice. I like the drag and drop attachment feature!
  18. Seems good so far at my end. Looks a little different, but not in a bad way. Logon on was fine. Trying a message with file attachment now. It keeps giving me this notification.
  19. Looking at Dollywood late in the year. My wife wants to check out MIchigan Adventure but I would like to go to Carowinds. Of course, we plan to hit KI as much as we can.
  20. The best part was the end saying to enjoy the coasters after you eat.
  21. Thanks. Wild Eagle's restraints are basically the same as Banshee (other than the vest tightening up which I have never had it do on Banshee). I rode in row 4 all three times and didn't have any problems. If you don't have any restraint problems with Beast or Racer, you'll be fine on Thunderhead. You won't have any problems getting on Tennessee Tornado or Firechaser Express either. Blazing Fury as one bar that goes around everybody and you won't have any problems with it. Mystery Mine I have never had any problems with but if you can get on Banshee and Diamondback you should be fine with it (there is also a test seat out front for it as well). Lightning Rod has the most restrictive seats and as best I could tell it was the same size seat in every row so there are no bigger row seats like the B&Ms have. I did see a guy about 10-15 pounds larger than me (I'm 6'1" and around 258 lbs (I'm working on being smaller next time I ride it )) not get on it. But I think you should be fine though if you have no problems with Banshee. Great! Thanks for the information. Now it seems the big trick might be staying away from all of the good food it looks like they have there
  22. Thanks for the report. My wife and I were just discussing the park. Looking online, we had concerns about being able to ride some of the rides (namely for myself). We read the online descriptions and watched any videos we could. It does not seem like I would have any problems. Maybe you can shed some light on this. In relation to Kings Island rides, here is my experiences: Diamondback - Not the least troubles Banshee - Not bad, but I go for rows 4 and 5. Only pain was when an over-eager ride op slammed me down one more notch than needed Beast and Racer - Lap bar goes right about to my midsection, minor inconvenience Invertigo and Vortex - no issues I have been on Thunderbird and Gatekeeper, which no issues that I can recall either. I am just under 6 foot tall, so I can see no issues there. Based on these, is there anything there I should watch out for? I would hate to drive 5.5 hours and just watch.
