Fear the Four
I like Marty's Party even though I throw the marshmellows over the stage from the back row
Hawaiian Coasters 325
I stumbled upon an old video of Marty's Party. I didn't even know this was a thing granted I was only like 6/7 back then and never watched shows at KI then lol. Throwing marshmallows on the stage sounds interesting to say the least. Does anyone here remember more about Marty's Party? It's hard to find stuff about it outside of the photos on this forum. Maybe could make for a good topic for a future Tower Topics episode @DonHelbig @BoddaH1994
Losantiville Mining Co.
I am definitely (somewhat close to being) a show groupie. The current entertainment lineup does leave a little to be asked for, but I'm glad we have stuff like Country Crossroads and Hot Rhythm Nights. If Six Flags is trying to find a way to improve their parks without putting new coasters everywhere, I would highly recommend investing in awesome shows for each park. The largest initial investment would be building/upgrading stages/theaters, and continued investment would be the creation of each new show. If I had my way, a dream Kings Island entertainment lineup quick list would be: (hidden for dramatic effect) Spoiler Kings Island Theater (large stage): "Coney Celebrations", a Phantom Theater Encore-scale show themed to classic amusements and remembering Cincinnati's Coney Island. Festhaus Stage (large stage): "Fun Time 1999", a typical decades show with music from throughout the 1990s. International Bandstand (medium stage): "Hot Rhythm Nights", a similar show to the 2025 version. The biggest change will be a larger set. International Showplace (large stage): "Country Crossroads", complete with a live band and fun set. One issue could be the tuning of the instruments in the different weather, but I don't think Festhaus is much better for that. Similar to the current 2025 version, but in the better theater. Peanuts Showplace (small stage): A Peanuts show, ending with a character meet & greet. Beagle Scout Acres (small stage): A short character meet & greet and show similar to the show in Carowinds Camp Snoopy. New Rivertown Showplace (medium stage): "High Noon", a comedic musical revue themed similarly to "Busker Jam" that we saw in 2021. At some point, a joke is made about whether or not the show has a western or rustic theme. Action Theater: "Six Stages of FUN", a short film based on Kings Island rides, could be changed up each year for new additions. Remove the motion seats and install regular fold-down theater seating. Timberwolf Amphitheater: A "Trailblazers Xtreme"-style stunt show. Take out most of the stage/seating, build a new stage closer to Drop Tower, and let it have its own dedicated stunt theater in Action Zone. International Street: "Kings Island Nighttime Spectacular", Kings Island's typical firework show. Drones may not be needed, especially if The Vortex replacement doesn't allow for drones to fly above it.  I fully believe that the International Showplace would be the best place for Country Crossroads. A show that good deserves a captive audience, and one that the Festhaus cannot provide. The International Showplace also deserves a show that can actually utilize that theater and stage. Unless a new large indoor theater is built somewhere in the park, I'd go for the International Showplace. An episode about the favorite shows throughout each Kings Island era would be cool to see. Either that or (hear me out) an episode coming up with a dream show lineup / a realistic dream show lineup!

I remember a big problem with the marshmallow fight was that they would reuse the marshmallows from show-to-show and it would be very apparent, which wouldn’t stop some kids from taking a bite! Captain Nemo
The most clever show the park has had. Plus it was a huge hit with everyone, how can you go wrong with a marshmallow fight!

Just an absolute banger of a show playing to sold out crowds every day. So much so they had to extend it multiple days, then weeks, then months. 1

Meh, show should have been hosted by Combat Stupendous. School of Rock was a standout though. And while I know Hot Blooded was a fan favorite, Dead Awakening was better. disco2000
The cirque shows had a large following of groupies, as did Phantom Theatre Encore
