fanofFirehawk Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 I hope KI renames the store Possesions (as DP did with an existing store near VooDoo in 2008). Couldn't you have just typed out Dorney Park? Or even Dorney that is only 4 more characters, and you probably had to hit shift or CAPS lock twice so only like two more characters. It doesn't take that long. I literally sat there for like 30 seconds thinking what could DP be, and finally settled on Dorney. 1 Quote
KHFan29 Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 They started to work on the new paint. https://twitter.com/KingsIslandPR/status/398570502437867520 6 Quote
Spectrum91 Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 I believe the gift shop for Banshee is actually the first floor of the station and would thus not show in the station renderings. Typically the space underneath a station is used for a PLC room, storage, mechanical shenanigans, etc. I'd be surprised to see a merchandise location underneath Banshee's station. Quote
TheCrypt Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 I believe Robbie (CoastersRZ) confirmed the space under the station would be a gift shop. He works for the firm that designed the station, so I would consider him to be a reliable source. 8 Quote
jcgoble3 Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Also, IIRC Gatekeeper has part of its gift shop under the station. Don't quote me on that, though, as I could be wrong. Quote
Executioner822 Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 yeah DP means so many things to a dirty minded fellow like myself... ha ha. 1 Quote
The Interpreter Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Disneyland Park? Old Terpy, who knows when to resort to such adventure. 9 Quote
TombRaiderFTW Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 I can't tell if it's glare off the track, white primer, or orange paint, but the bit of Bat that can be seen just above Banshee's loop in the webcam looks different from how it appeared yesterday. I'd take a screenshot, except I can't right now. 1 Quote
ChainDog Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 I think it's a glare Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
TombRaiderFTW Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 I think you're right. It must have been the color balance of the camera at the time. Quote
LoraX Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 It looks like CJ and the other one are playing London Bridges or something. Quote
jcgoble3 Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 There is no "other one". There's Clifford and Clifford Junior. CJ is bent over trying to pick up a penny that someone glued to the ground. 3 Quote
LoraX Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 it almost looked like one was behind the bushes. CJ needs to get a move on then. Quote
Kat Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 I thought there were three yesterday as well lol 1 Quote
calakapepe Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 I hate acronyms sometimes..Anyways, I wonder how long it'll take to paint the whole ride. Quote
LoraX Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 I thought there were three yesterday as well lol We have them multiplying like crazy lol. He needs to get a move on then since apparently we expect him to do the work of two. 2 Quote
thedevariouseffect Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 The three cranes--I nominate names Clifford (obviously) CJ (Cliff Jr as established) Bane is the third...why..just because First thing that popped in my mind Or Jenkins... Take your pick Quote

homestar92 Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 Jenkins I don't want to be a burden... Or perhaps more apropos for a suspended coaster: "I told you no good would come from city folks and their flyin' machines!" 11 Quote
LoraX Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 I like Bane, but I like Batman. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1 Quote

You're thinking of somewhere else, possibly he is mistaking the sewer hole lid for a penny? BB1, looking for the asian in the trees and paranormal creatures on the internet. 1 Quote
AintNutinElse2Do Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 While I doubt there will be new trains. How would you all feel if it was Vekomas Dragonfly concept trains? 4 Quote
ChainDog Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 It would sure be different and I'd love to give those a try! But I highly doubt we'll see those Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
Tr0y Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 While I doubt there will be new trains. How would you all feel if it was Vekomas Dragonfly concept trains? i would feel very uncomfortable in those seats, forceful turns and bicycle seats, no thank you... I think the bats current trains are fine. The only thing i would like to see make a return is The Bat-like themed trains. 6 Quote
AintNutinElse2Do Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 ^Seems more like motorcycle seats to me. Fast hills and curves are quite fun on those. 1 Quote
purdude86 Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 Those look like they could be a lot of fun. Never ridden ones like that so not sure how the comfort level would be but The Bat isn't the longest ride either. Once you get to the top of the lift it doesnt' take too long to run the course. Quote
NoChickens Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 I bet it would feel very long in those seats. 2 Quote
silver2005 Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 If I'm seeing those Vekoma concept cars right, guests are kneeling in them. I wouldn't ride any coaster where you have to kneel down. Adding those to suspended coasters, especially the more forceful ones like Flight Deck and Ninja, would make chiropractors jump for joy with the added business. 5 Quote
