silver2005
^And one of my favorite racing coasters, 2nd only to Lightning Racer.
The Interpreter
Many, many people consider it their favorite wooden coaster. When it opened, it was a capacity beast. The name? Sheer brilliance in a capsule. There are many lessons in there.
electricsun
Gemini is fun but silver2005, I agree with you. Lightning Racer is a blast. I loved it this summer. I haven't laughed that much on a wooden coaster (other than The Beast). My only regret is not riding it in the dark. It's such a fun ride!
MDMC01
I agree, Lightning Racer is amazing. #teamlightning! I bet it would be crazy fun at night; my only Hershey night rides have been Comet and Great Bear (another ride I love!)
The Interpreter
Great Bear is the strangest B&M I have ever ridden. It just feels wrong. And I love it.
Bansheeback
So Apple's new iPhone and Cedar Point's new coaster are to be announced on the same day? Sure to be an exciting one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

calakapepe
What's crazy is that the water level of Lake Erie is approximately 570' above sea level.
medford
If Lake Erie were not so highly elevated, Niagara Falls may not be so exquisite.
calakapepe
Lake Erie is down stream from Niagara Falls. It might be more so exquisite if Lake Erie weren't as highly elevated. Oopsie, I would have sworn the falls ran into Erie. But I looked at a map. My mistake.
vortexfan
Niagara Falls (specifically the Niagara River) empties Lake Erie into Lake Ontario...
The Interpreter
Water flows downhill...
calakapepe
For the record, I had a moment of idiocy. Though I obviously know that water goes downhill.. didn't need that remark.
medford
Water flows downhill... So does ummm... other stuff.
IBEW_Sparky
Yeah, like dive coasters. Sparky: ALMOST as big a fan of divers, as Terpy is of Voyage and I-305.
WindingSon
I liked Griffon quite a lot. It's the only one I've been on. Would I ride it over and over? Not on my own. Again? Sure.
Steph88
I could ride Sheikra all day long, assuming it's not miserably hot outside.
IBEW_Sparky
Right on, and I surely understand it will be a draw for the park, I just have absolutely zero interest in it. I have a true feeling, that a good number of first-timers will be as anticipointed with it as most of us were with Rougarou.
cholderfield
Well I enjoyed Rougarou so I guess I'll be fine Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk
Gplez90
I believe we all know Cedar Point will announce a record breaking dive coaster tomorrow, but what things would you like to see come with it? Splashdown? Lighting? Fog? More Peanuts character shaped bushes? I'm excited to 1. See the details (top speed, track length, train size. 2. See if any theming will adorn the ride. 3. See how that entire area will evolve with the addition of the ride.
calakapepe
I agree with the 3rd point you have, definitely. Whether they'll try to only bring the entrance over by Blue Streak or if they'll have the ride diving over, under, and around paths like Griffon and making the new ride accessible from the North and the existing path under Raptor... I hope it's not the latter only. If dreams were real, it'd be swell to have a wind-proof coaster too
TheBEASTunchained
I saw that someone had pointed this out over at the TPR forums..... Now THIS is interesting...... The FAA responded to Cedar Point's request about a 230 ft. "tower" yesterday with a letter: What is usually done about something like this on The Point's side of things?
Oldschool75
Well KI has a spot for it, just remove that Arrow sitting in the back of the park. Lol. But on a serious note, you would think CP would get the all clear before going ahead with construction. Sent from a signal coming out of the Vega system. thekidd33
Given this rides proximity to Millie and Dragster I would think that they received similar responses during the construction of those rides.
