calakapepe Posted February 2, 2017 Posted February 2, 2017 You best put your hands up! also, here's the source https://twitter.com/KingsIslandPR/status/827262053463134210 3
CoastersRZ Posted February 3, 2017 Posted February 3, 2017 That looks like a wonderful airtime hill right there! 7

I keep on getting more excited cause the photos keep on looking better. About 70 more days left until opening day. Can't WAIT!!!! 12
calakapepe Posted February 3, 2017 Posted February 3, 2017 The best thing about this ride is it doesn't seem like tons of trees were cleared in order to erect the thing. Diamondback goes back into the woods, but the clearing is so much that it feels like an slightly open field And Banshee during opening year too. Though, the Banshee area didn't have tons of trees since SOB so.. couldn't have done much there 4
Reon Posted February 3, 2017 Posted February 3, 2017 I can smell the airtime now. That hill looks like more of a speedbump, but just imagine the forces we're gonna get flying over that thing... 10
JubJester Posted February 3, 2017 Posted February 3, 2017 Good shot of construction happening around the turn area. 11

Reon Posted February 3, 2017 Posted February 3, 2017 It must be the forced perspective again, but that turn looks a lot lower than I initially expected... 2
calakapepe Posted February 3, 2017 Posted February 3, 2017 I was looking that too. Its the rendered layout picture that didnt totally account for the terrain. 3
Elizabeth19 Posted February 3, 2017 Posted February 3, 2017 That tunnel looks really cool, even though they haven't really finished it. 5
kirbias1 Posted February 3, 2017 Posted February 3, 2017 It seems like it is taking them a long time to complete the turnaround. 3

MDMC01 Posted February 4, 2017 Posted February 4, 2017 That turn with the half-completed tunnel reminds me of Adventure Express's downward turn that goes through the arches. Looking good thus far; only 71 more days! 5
DiamondBanshee Posted February 4, 2017 Posted February 4, 2017 I've never been on a GCI, so are they known for floater or ejector airtime? This looks like an awesome mix of both, but I'm really hoping for more ejector as KI doesn't seem to have a crazy ejector airtime focused ride. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 3
Rivertown Rider Posted February 4, 2017 Posted February 4, 2017 ^ Thunderhead is the only one that I have been on which I would classify as ejector air. 5

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Thunderhead has brief pops of comfortable, ejector, one or two floaters.. but actual floaters like on Diamondback, not like what Racer has towards the end Expect to be thrown around, up and to the side It should be fun if its half as fun as Thunderhead 5

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk GCI does what I call "floater pops". Hills that offer nothing more than strong floater, but you ride over them so quickly that it could give the illusion that it's ejector air when it's really not. Just REALLY fast paced floater hills. 4
Sythe Posted February 4, 2017 Posted February 4, 2017 Some of the hills on Mystic Timbers remind me of a couple hills on Grizzly at Kings Dominion, and believe me that is a GOOD thing. I can see this thing providing some great ejector.Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk 6

Creed Bratton Posted February 4, 2017 Posted February 4, 2017 Angry Orchard in the shed? Sweet! Will folks under 21 have to wear a wristband so they don't get served any? 8
new account Posted February 4, 2017 Posted February 4, 2017 Look quick, they are putting in the drop track... 2
Creed Bratton Posted February 4, 2017 Posted February 4, 2017 And they're repainting Diamondback silver&green! 7

JubJester Posted February 4, 2017 Posted February 4, 2017 They just released a station construction photo on Twitter. Can't really tell what that is below the track in front of the station. 7
