Maverick44
Are you saying Millennium Force isn't a hit? Side Note - KI has that no doubt about it attraction. Its called The Beast.
IndyGuy4KI
Some good points made there @gad198 for a Giga install. I hope CF feels the same.
Maverick44
Mill Force and Fury are amazing! I would be ok with either mfg to be honest. I prefer Intamin just to being a more exciting coaster but as for Giga's i'll take anything lol

mayaman2
Modern Vekomas are pretty sweet, I hear. They have a new track design they've been using for a few years and they seem a lot smoother. Haven't ridden one made in this decade though.
rhyano
I would take something like Lech Coaster over a giga tbh... Vekoma is going to make it's comeback eventually, and Lech coaster was less than 6 million USD...
Maverick44
I'm good on the Vekoma's too many headaches after their coasters. However that coaster looks pretty cool.
Tera Ryzing
A park in Poland had a contest where patrons voted for a intamin or vekoma. Intamin won the vote for the tallest hyper in the world.
Maverick44
Yaayyyy!! I will visit that park on the sheer factor there is going to be an Intamin coaster lol
rhyano
You guys are acting like the Vekoma layout wasn't good, I voted for the Intamin, but the Vekoma layout was decent and provided what looked like great airtime!
Maverick44
^^ The Intamin def seems like a better layout and coaster all around. Why can't that be in the USA!!!!
Creed Bratton
Because most US parks aren't willing to pay for it and have a ride with a significant amount of downtime 8
flightoffear1996
Just give me a fun ride that has low down time and I am a happy camper. I dont care if its from B&M or some dude in his garage.
silver2005
To all you guys wanting Intamins- are their designs really worth the hassle to the park that they bring? Many of us have posted time and time again the problems that come with Intamins, why do you look past that in terms of what direction you think the park will actually go if they go for a giga? You all know it'll be a B&M. I'd put money on it.
Rivertown Rider
KI dealt with a big coaster last decade that had a lot of downtime. If we are getting a giga it is going to come from a manufacturer that specializes in safety and reliability. B&M checks both of those boxes.

Tera Ryzing
B&m are reliable but they are not building much in the US lately. To be fair intamin got the reputation of having downtime due to pushing innovation.
Creed Bratton
That's a fair response. When it comes to pushing innovation, I think it's a great thing, just wish that there would be more error proofing before release. I also believe the trend has been more about family rides vs roller coasters with the major companies, aside from Six Flags that just kinda does random rides and/or RMC conversions.
Maverick44
Every Christmas I ask Santa for a new Intamin! Haha I love roller coasters! 1

B&M would be nice, but depending on whether or not Bangtime is good, I'd also love to see a Gerstlauer come to the park (there's not much diversity... 2 B&Ms, 3 Arrows, 3 Vekomas, 2 Premiers, a PTC, GCI, and an in-house, with many manufacturers doing multiple KI flats as well). A great place for one really would be in Action Zone in part of SoB's unused plot. The terrain is fantastic and would make a great place for a wing or a dive. Just please, make them better than GateKeeper/Valravn, we don't need mediocre rides. IIRC, you are missing a second PTC, an E&F Miler, and a Zamperla.

rhyano
I'd rather have a Mack type just because of reliability concerns, but I don't really want a giga, and I feel like a Mack terrain launch coaster would be so much more unique.
Maverick44
A Maverick type coaster from Intamin would be amazing. I'd take the giga Intaman as well. Hell i'd take the pre fab woodie as well ...sigh Replace BLSC with an Intamin cowboy coaster!!

Watched a coaster show the other night on helix. The park owner was worried about a couple enthusiasts coming to write a review on the park. Ride broke down several times for sensor issues.
Maverick44
I mean every coaster can have its issues. Even everyone's beloved B&M's can have issues. So I wouldn't be worried about that at all. Mack would be different that is for sure. I'd hate to have it be lame though. There is no such thing as a lame Intamin haha
