^malem and Goble usually torch me at Boo Blasters.

I suck at boo blasters, only time I did well was when it stopped near the end and I kept shooting at the same 2 targets, it was pretty funny as my friend was in the middle and she couldn't get any, but usually my husband beats me by a whole lot. Lol

Here's my updated list with what I've completed so far:

  • Night Ride on Firehawk
  • Ride The Bat at night (I've ridden at dusk, but I've not done a true night ride)
  • Ride Congo Falls
  • Ride Race For Your Life Charlie Brown
  • Ride White Water Canyon
  • Play more arcade games
  • Play at least one midway game
  • Ride Slingshot
  • Ride Xtreme Skyflyer
  • See Off The Charts (Didn't see it in the past)
  • See Jump! The Ultimate Dog Show (mainly to see a show in the International Showplace Theatre, haven't done that in a long long time)
  • Get FunPix picture taken at the front of the park with a stranger and/or an entire family.
  • Watch the fireworks from the Eiffel Tower
  • Watch the fireworks from International Street
  • Have a fireworks ride on WindSeeker (Had one at the first Coasterstock and it was a blast!)
  • Ride Boo Blasters and don't attempt to get any points
  • Visit Soak City more
  • Ride Woodstock Whirlybirds (because why not?)
  • Spend a bit of time in the evening before park close on International Street
  • Eat at Subway with my dining plan (because Subway is expensive outside of the park)
  • Sample all of the fudge flavors at Sweet Spot
  • Get at least one new flavor of the Cotton Candy from Sweet Spot  (I had to update this, because they aren't giving samples...but a friend bought me the ranch cotton candy).
  • Spend a day at the park with my phone in the locker or car
  • Feed the fish in the Oktoberfest Pond
  • Meet at least 15 people from KIC that I don't already know
  • Split a big funnel cake with toppings with friends
  • Get a picture with each of the Peanuts costumed characters (those of you on here who are character escorts, make this happen please :))

Time to update my list!

- Ride Vortex for the 500th time, and celebrate with a fireworks ride on Vortex that same day. #MaybeMay4  <--Done, except for the fireworks ride part, which I did several days later.

- Reach 600 rides on Vortex

- Reach 700 rides on Vortex (believe it or not, that is my target for my overall total this year!)

- Watch the new Cirque show from the day it starts (unlike when I never saw Origins until 2016 and waited until 2017) <--Done! Saw it on May 27 (the day after it opened) with some friends from school and I have seen it three times so far (I need to see it again soon so I can see the new contortion act!)

- Possibly reach 200 flights on WindSeeker? (I'm at 121 and the most I've ridden in one season is 39)

- Eat at Coney Bar B Que <--Done! Ate there May 27; I got the ribs and mac & cheese, which were really good!

- Visit Soak City more than once

- Spend at least one guest visit with a KIC group (especially if @Beastie1980 is there! We need to spend more time at KI together!)

- Watch JUMP! The Ultimate Dog Challenge at least once in its entirety.

Also, I must make note of a few "bucket list" occurrences not on the list that I got to do since the season started:

-Ride Vortex at midnight -- May 18 (thanks Coasterstock!)

-Ride Vortex in a torrential downpour -- June 12

-Get evacuated off a ride (for the full story PM me)

-Ride Vortex with a double rainbow in the sky -- June 27

-Work the "Op-1" position on WindSeeker -- got to do that for one cycle while someone was being trained at Op-3 during my hour there.

-See a train in Vortex's train storage (as well as seeing them move the train in/out) -- that was a super cool #geekmoment! -- July 6

My 9 year old kid has a bucket list, but don't think she'll make it all this year:

Ride the Viking ship- first ride of every visit since she was tall enough.

Ride Slingshot (unless I find a volunteer so go she's outta luck)

Ride Xtreme Skyflyer(see Slingshot)

Ride Banshee -complete but barely made height requirement

Ride Diamondback- 1.5 inches to go

Ride Flight of Fear-1.5 inches to go

Ride Beast- finally got on it

Win riding the Blue racer- took 4 rides but got it.

Ride Vortex at night- done

Got to Halloween Haunt for her birthday- still undecided on agreeing.

Get me to go up the Eiffel Tower- okay I did but I didn't agree to stay so was on next elevator down while her and dad stayed lol.

-Ride Woodstock Express

-Ride Xtreme Skyflyer with another human (not solo)    A big thanks to @Magenta Lizard and @jcgoble3 for flying with me!
-Have something at the Smoothie Shack near Diamondback    I had a mango strawberry smoothie with @Magenta Lizard last week.  It contained real fruit, but was also very sweet.  It was super refreshing!
-Buy a unique souvenir(s)
-See the Ultimate Dog Show at least once   I caught most of it with @electricsun and @IndyGuy4KI earlier in the season.  I probably wouldn't watch it again.  Don't get me wrong, the puppies are super smart and talented, but I can't help but think they'd rather spend their time doing other things.
-Marathon water ride day (ride each one at least once in the same day)   I did this with a couple of GP pals who don't care for coasters.  Super refreshing, but I like to never dried.  But lots of fun! No regrets!
-Old West Photo with KIC friends
-Watch fireworks on International Street sitting beside the fountains while indulging in a delicious treat    I had a turtle caramel apple the night I was at the park with @jtro223
-See the Ultmate Stunt Show   I enjoyed the show; it gave me knots in tummy.  I'm not sure how much more I'll see it, especially with Gravity swiftly coming to an end.  It just has a different vibe.
- Complete every Haunt Maze
-Don Helbig selfie   I opted for a photo instead of a selfie.  We will take a better one when the weather is better!

-Ride The Beast in the back row    What was I thinking? Yeah, that's not happening again.
-Work on a TBA creative project

-Interpret the National Anthem (in ASL) as it plays at park opening  Did this at Coasterstock near the KI Theatre.  Ask @Mrs. No Chickens.  She saw!

-Perform one of the Greatest Showman songs at the end of the night on International Street with another KICer *cough* @chugh43

-Ride Vortex with @VortexBFForever   Not only did I achieve this goal, I got to share in her 600th Vortex ride!  What an epic day, riding four times in a row! :)

I lazily crossed off a few items and added a note or two in a pretty orange color.  Yay!  What this list is showing me is how many friends I've made on these boards.  To think it all started with a Google search for a park map at the beginning(ish) of last season, and now I have made so many friends, had so many amazing experiences and made so many unforgettable memories.  It makes my eyes sweaty with respect.

Those dogs are far better off than the 95% of dogs that spend 9 hours alone at home while their leader is out working or going to the KI without them.  Dogs are happiest when they have a job to do.  That job can be lots of things like accompanying its leader on a walk or fetching the ball.   They really wouldn’t prefer to be laying on the couch.  :D
