I call MT Mysti to give it personality and to be cute, but I am not seeing a need to do anything with Orion.

For some reason I got stuck on calling MT Chicken Tenders. My daughter finds it funny, so at least I'm cool in the eyes of her. LOL

That is so wordy.   How about shortening it to just BO?

I started calling it a "jigga coaster." Think I can get that to catch on?

So now it's a sweaty jigga coaster?

Sounds like a rapper

You are right.   What we need is different nicknames depending on the vibe we are to project.  Rapper, stripper and pornstar nicknames are required by law  What other types do we need?

All of these nicknames are equally lame, but this is by far the worst. Yikes.

My gf has video that she plays back for me about once a week at the announcement when the crowd starts chanting “Giga! Giga! Giga!” before speakers took the stage I was chanting “Jigga! Jigga! Jigga!” and everyone around us looked so confused! :D

I am thinking Orion could be known as "The Iron" due to the comparisons to a flat ride. I am 'pressed' to ride it soon as soon as the 'wrinkles' are worked out prior to opening day. I hope to be 'Permanent(ly) (im)pessed' by the ride and the 'ironing board' looking legs holding up the track.  ...keep it going...

Agree that the name is short and simple enough to not need a nickname (like Banshee), but Ori was the first thought I had as well. Thne when trees grow back in more night rides could be Ori and the Blind Forest

Last fall, a friend and I decided on the nickname of Oreo.

We got the idea while riding Vortex, so I am definitely sticking with it. :)

I will be calling it “The Southside Blues”.  First in reference to the great view from the lift hill of that empty plot of land just south of it where Vortex stood. Second for the color of Orion.

I'm an associate at the park and some of us associates have started calling Orion "The Big O".  Don't really know why, but we stuck with it.

That name's already taken. ;)
