Where exactly in/around Action Zone/the park are these located?

From the parking lot on south side of entrance between parking lot and Congo Falls.

On the March 2024 Mason permit report there is a permit for a Coca-Cola Refresh Station in Action Zone.

https://www.imaginemason.org/city-government/engineering-building-planning/monthly-permit-reports/

Who knows where that is going in Action Zone but I would expect movement soon for that.

I will be curious to see what happens with Timberwolf after Music in the Parks is over in a few weeks as there is no SpiritSong this year.

From The Bat lift hill you can see behind Great Wolf that it looks like all the water line work is done so could this all be adding up to the revamped front gate / Action Zone redo that we have been talking about for years?

The Coca-Cola refresh might be what is going onto the expanded patio they added next to Chicken Shack. I don’t have a photo of it myself, but it was discussed on Tower Topics at the 31:50 mark:

With all the storm grates they put on the high spot of the area, it would seem weird to then pop a building on top of that, but who knows LOL...

Hmmm ..a drink station in zombie zone. I I wonder if we will see some sort of eatery soon? Could they be building up? Auxiliary services ahead of a revamp with a new large attraction? Whatever the design of this new refresh station looks like, it could give a clue in the future theming if they indeed are going to revamp this area.

@disco2000 Was this on the side closer to Invertigo or closer to where this new concrete pad is?

Markings were on Delirium side and out past the covering of the main Chicken Shack entrance.  They were not there opening weekend (or they were obstructed).

Polished concrete? Lots of drains? Makes perfect sense for a location that would need to be mopped very frequently. Perhaps we'll see something like the open air Coca-Cola marketplace/mist area we had before they built the Oktoberfest freestyle location.

it would be interesting if they were marking to possibly create an alternate entryway into the park there, but i doubt it. its most realistically probably just markings for them to work on sewer pipes or something lol
