Snowball
darn. Woke up too late to get one. Maybe next year. I probably shouldn’t take off working at the park to visit the park anyway...
Hawaiian Coasters 325
Got mine right at 10 before I went out to do carts. Surprised it took 15 minutes to sell out! I thought it would take 5 at the most lol.

Coastermania has, traditionally, had a much higher capacity allowance than most enthusiast events. I've been to several Coastermanias over the years where there were upwards of 2,000 attendees. Its worth noting that interest in Coastermania, and attendance, usually flexes based on a new coaster. In "intermediate" years between coasters, attendance tends to dip. I don't know the KI Coasterstock capacity, but I'd not be surprised if it is 1/3 of Coastermania's allowance. Given that, and the fact that Orion is still essentially a new coaster to most... its no surprise demand for CS tickets was incredible.
Shawn Meyer
I was within one step away from snagging a ticket. I guess it wasn't meant to be for me this year.

Or it's just that coasterstock or these special events in general are rising in popularity. Remember registration for Orion's media day (that ended up not happening due to covid) went out in less than 30 minutes I believe and coasterstock last year (that also didn't happen) sold out around the same as well. Didn't happen this quickly for Mystic Timbers or Banshee media days. I don't remember how fast the tickets for coasterstock for 2017 sold out, but I don't think it was this quick. Winter Chill Out at Cedar Point's tickets sold out quickly as well!
