Ok so seriously, WHERE ARE THE SPECIAL FALL FOODS THIS YEAR?!

I am rather concerned that there won't be any special fall foods since there hasn't been anything specifically noted on the website like in years past. No blog posts. Nothing. Really hoping they still have some special items they just "forgot" to list them on the website. To me, along with the decorations and the atmosphere, having special eats for the event is all part of the experience.

They are on the app. not sure why it's not on the site.

I'm taking my son to the Haunt on Fri 9/22. I haven't been in several years, but always enjoyed it. He's 13 years old and fears nothing, but this is his first haunt and first haunted house experience. Any tips on the indoor mazes that would be a good starting point for him? Also, is there any conventional wisdom about where to go first before the lines really start to build? We'll be arriving about 20 minutes before gates open.

Thanks, really looking forward to it.

Can't wait! Do they still do the opening sequence where all the scaractors come running out of the fog through the front gates into the crowd waiting out front? Like I said I haven't been in several years. That was my favorite part of the event.

From the past 2 years of going, They do the sequence where there is an audio story played which signals the start, once the sequence is finished the scare actors come from the left and right of I-Street's intersections (Planet Snoopy and Festhaus intersections) and walk towards the crowd. Once the firework effect goes off, the rope drops.

Usually the way it has worked is an audio story plays and then there is this explosion that goes off and that's when Haunt starts.

I was happy about most of the scareactors scare zones and mazes, I think that coney maul when I was there was highly lacking scareactors and alot of them didn't scare. I will have to say Slaughter house was excellent! Very well done great scares and actors. I can't wait to go back and possibly next year come out of retirement.
