Chad Showalter tweeted in response to a question, that it will be a year round operation. If the price is right, that might be a midwinter get away for me.

I don't have an RV or camper trailer, but honestly even being a local, the cottages/cabins/whatever you want to call them look really nice, especially when paired with all the other amenities. I can see those in particular also being popular when you have, say, a two-day event like Coasterstock. I'm guessing there will also be some kind of shuttle bus service to and from the park.

Although I highly doubt we will ever stay there, it is a fantastic add for the area and Kings Island. Great job to all involved. Not a new ride, but Cedar Fair and Kings Island still made huge news in an odd year.

Year-Round Luxury Outdoor Resort Will Welcome Park Guests, Families and RV Travelers Construction of the $27 million Kings Island Camp Cedar is underway, and the new luxury outdoor resort is scheduled to open in the spring of 2021. Resort guests will be able to take advantage of outdoor entertainment including recreational and adult exclusive pools, ponds, walking trail and unique dining options. Plus, they will find camping must-haves including bathhouses, laundry facility, firepits, grills and picnic tables. Why do you want to take this pole seriously? You can literally vote once a day. Parks can share links in which once you click you’ve automatically voted for their product. Clearly it’s for marketing, not for actual statistics. So if you want to throw your local park a bone then go for it. At least KI will utilize it in their advertising. Lord knows Disney won’t tout being rated #1 in a RD poll. They build the greatest attractions in the world. They know it. The world knows it. They don’t need a few thousand fan boys confirming it.

Are you kidding? It's a piece of roller coaster track that traveled BACKWARDS in time! Not only is it valuable from a coaster enthusiasts standpoint, it's important to the study of time travel! Nah, I think an increase in value is dependent on how many were done like that. If it's all of them, then no change. If that's the only one like that, then that might change things.

It was pretty well grown in, prior to them bulldozing all of it. They installed a second entrance/exit off of Columbia road in the past few weeks as well. I would love to have one of those spots right next to the McDonald's Truck Parking Lot. I've heard that is a common overnight stay area for some local lot lizards.

I assume the building is most likely on the chopping block for a flat or something but I always wondered how a small, indoor-outdoor coaster like Mystery Mine would look.

Do you by chance know where the long lost cars for the original Bat disappeared to?

Super amazing. Rick Bastrup (President of R&R Designs) told me that the model was “lost somewhere along the road,” so it’s nice to see that it has survived somewhere after all these years! A real shame that it’s being sold and will never be seen by the public instead of donated to a museum, though.
