  1. It was pretty amazing. Great portion of meat. Good sides. Definitely something they could do a slight up charge for dining plan (like 5-7$) and I’d still pay.

  3. https://www.hersheypark.com/explore-the-park/rides/twizzlers-twisted-gravity/ Looks like fun and you'll get a great view of it from the Overlook Food Court. It's a shame Hershey is 7½ hours from here. I'd love to ride this next year, but that's too far to drive for a single weekend trip.

  4. So they need to learn from this and get us some GREAT food like this in park on a more regular basis. It doesn’t need to be 40.00, but they don’t need to basically give it away either. I thought it was awesome. Glad I made the effort to go on Sunday.

  5. I thought that was weird too. I was talking to Mike and some of the other gold tags after I had the chefs plate. I will share what I told them. "It was the best chefs plate I had ever had." Perfect portion size. The meat was tender, juicy, and well seasoned. The potato cakes were very flavorful. The carrots were well cooked.

  6. Thundervolt at PNE Playland opened back in July, and that also has the lightning trains. It seems whatever issue is plaguing the trains on TT2 have to be specific to that ride, otherwise Thundervolt wouldn't have opened.

  9. At least we know since it's a bar, unlike drink refill stations, it will be open.

  10. Well, the ride does take 3 launches to complete the circuit so....does this mean the third "launch" of this ride will be successful?

  11. FWIW there’s a new menu sign with the new name and it lists new drink options, but the same food options as before (shrimp po boy included) so if they are doing fall it’s an overlay of the existing offerings. Looks like they are basically adding the bar component (of course) and doing some light remodeling.

  12. Guess I’ll need to be the drunk uncle.

  13. My non enthusiast friends look to me for advice. With the way things have gone the last two years, I could not recommend the park in good conscience. I have not gone much myself this year. Several did go to KK and or HW instead and three have become passholders at KK instead of KI. Enthusiasts can be bratty and entitled. But you take the good with the bad. Will my paltry example make any noticeable difference? Not really, unless they track lost potential revenue. Kings Island can bring in the crowds consistently because it's a regional tradition/right of passage. Until people stop buying, they will continue to cut the budget. I some ways, I wish the budget cutters could get a federal job and tackle that budget. They have demonstrated they can slash!

  14. When parks have the wrong people in key positions, they miss a lot of the right opportunities that would benefit the park.

  15. Completely amazes me that a park that keeps adding "family friendly attractions" keeps insisting on increasing the amount of alcohol consumed in the park. Don't care which way they go, just pick a lane and stay in it. Nothing like kids spending the day with "drunk uncle"
