  1. La Vie En Rose is on right now.
  2. Some of the pods appear to have a more matte finish than others. I’m wondering if those are from the CP ride.
  3. I went to KD for their opening day this past weekend. I have been to plenty of legacy Six parks to experience their Flash Pass system, so I knew what to expect going in. The employees working the FL queues with the new phone-based scanners seemed to be well versed in how to scan people in, but the issues arose in those guests that entered the Fastlane queue before their countdown timers had expired. The employees were letting them simply stand in line until their QR code became available- forcing those who had their QR codes ready to go to wait several additional minutes- sometimes 10-15. Both TT and Pantherian were running one train (and kept shredding wheels... again), which compounded the issue. The QR codes do scan quickly, and they do seem to have the FL queues adequately staffed. It was easy to make a reservation in the app, though like many have said I did not like having to have my phone on me. To lap Twisted Timbers, this required me to get my phone out of the locker every time I wanted to enter the fastlane queue- rather than just store my phone in the locker for several rides like you can with a wristband. For me, that is the biggest drawback. I also experienced difficulty getting the all season FL on my pass to activate- after entering the park, the FL website still said I was not present in the park. I had to go to the premium experience center to get them to manually activate my FL reservations- which took nearly 30 minutes for them to figure out. I was glad Accesso was present to work through the bugs the first day. I did receive a survey after my visit- where I also left this feedback.
  4. Just got a notification that FUN hit a 52-week low at 17.43.
  5. You all are right- though it’s not very apparent unless you use the locker kiosk and see that a small locker is free. This sign is a bit misleading in that regard:
  6. TT2 has paid lockers outside the entrance. Siren’s curse has free lockers in the queue like Steel Vengeance. Have to go through metal detectors on both.
  7. My guess is a Zamperla wild mouse. While I’d love a Screamin’ Swing, it doesn’t really make sense to put it right next to another forceful pendulum ride.
  8. According to their site, they make them in Carignano, Italy. https://www.panzera.it/en/about/
  9. Just tried the “Spicy Smokehouse Mac and Cheese” at Wishbone. It’s described as having brisket bits, honey BBQ glaze, spicy cheese sauce, and cavatappi. The brisket is just the burnt ends from Coney BBQ, and the cheese sauce is just what they put on the Mac and Cheese at Coney. It’s incredibly lightly applied- not cheesy at all. No spice anywhere. The photo they have on display seems to show a red buffalo type sauce, but this didn’t come on mine. I guess I should just go to Coney and put burnt ends on my Mac, then I’d get a bigger portion and a hush puppy. However, the Monster Mash flatbread at IS Larosa’s is great! Depending on when you go, it might take a minute to get.
  10. Can the tunnel be themed to the abandoned, incomplete subway?
  11. 2 train ops on Orion tonight. Quoted as 20 minutes, but I think it’s closer to 45 based on how the line is moving.
  12. Yes! But the line is not moving. 9/1/24, 2:59pm.
  13. Nope. 9:18pm, 8/30.
  14. Yes. 8:25pm, 8/24/24.
  15. There does not appear to be any infrastructure installed other than a pair of outlets. I don't see any drainage, water lines, or large electrical conduit to think this is anything major.
  16. https://x.com/cedarpoint/status/1789288567698608257?s=46&t=GsSZNHCiIJKySlgVeWLr2w Weather, technical issues, or the geomagnetic storm?
  17. We are heading there this weekend. My first time in several years (pre-Wildwood Grove) and her first time ever. It does feel nice to spend the money someplace that genuinely cares about the guest experience.
  18. That tipping point was this year for me. Last year, my wife and I both had Platinum passes with the dining plan, drink plan, and all-park, all-season Fast Lane; easily $3,000 between us. I waited a long time before deciding one way or the other, but budget cuts, devaluation of our passes, safety concerns, unknowns due to the merger, and a complete lack of park communication are just some of the reasons we came to this conclusion. Instead, we got Dollywood passes for the first time. This will be the first year I won't have a pass since I was a child, which does make me sad. Unfortunately, I can't imagine my choice will make much of a dent. Unless a large percentage of the passholder base follows suit, nothing will change.

  20. Looks like this will be the 208m Rebound model of the family boomerang. https://rcdb.com/r.htm?ot=2&mo=15119
  21. Very pleased with this! A family boomerang will fit very nicely.
  22. Banshee, Invertigo, Drop Tower, Congo Falls all closed right now. Skyflyer, Bat, and Delirium still open. AZ is a ghost town compared to usual. Hard to believe that many things could be be down just for maintenance…
  23. I just tried the French dip. Ehh. About the size of a hotdog, and it’s premade and wrapped in foil. Very salty. I can tell it would have been good if it hadn’t been sitting so long and wasn’t a little soggy. The Au Jus was okay. Maybe I just got it on a bad day.
  24. I’ve only lost my phone once- this past Saturday on i305. It was secured in a buttoned cargo pocket and still managed to get free. Has never happened to me on Maverick- with similar restraints. I’ve also been decked in the face by a phone on Millie- but that was someone who was trying to record.
