Didn't see this coming, but don't see it being worthwhile. From Jan-mid March every year, the area basically goes into hibernation. While some attractions are open year-round, I don't know that there are enough people that would make it worth the operational costs. I could be wrong....I'd love to see it, but it's not something that would have me driving 6.5 hrs to visit during the "off-season."

HWN is superior imo. I wonder how well it'll go without the leadership of the past.

That's correct...it is still there...still very much not for sale. Also has several KI items for sale...way too expensive for what they are.

Out of the 3 camera views, this one is probably my favorite for now. I find this view interesting, like you @BoddaH1994. I partly wonder if they've removed the ice layer already and we're seeing the plywood? I wonder this, because of the palets to the bottom right of the frame and then the lift on the bottom left.

It looks like Shooting Start was SBNO...when I last visited, it was having technical difficulties.

But will those three actually do racing? Well SSBR (should be) both sides of Racer on any given day (maybe?) and both sides of River Racers (maybe?).

Absolutely. Many better options for food than at KI.

Maybe if this experience were open more than 6(ish) days to the public, they shied away from serving chicken tenders are almost every restaurant they would have had a better chance?

This likely, I'm guessing, is due to the fact that the park will no longer be in existence in a few years. Time to start scaling down operations as they can.

I will give Snow Works a few points, because we actually went further down the decline than on Black Friday when we only went a couple of inches.

Enjoyed my visit last night. I did not end up doing the buffet....but enjoyed my meal at Coney BBQ. Racer in December just hits different. So fun!!! Snoopy's Soap Box Racers was a nice addition. The lights around the train have been mostly fixed...there were still fixtures that left the people decapitated, missing an arm, or just not on at all. Music played which was a plus. Snow Works only allowed for 2-3 lanes to be used. I tried two of the cocktails, which ended up being good.

Looks like Tony C. continues with Six Flags as well!

I see what ya did there. I asked SF corporate if they would share inside info with seasonal employees. They said they Schell.

I understand the distrust in Six Flags for now....but what I don't get is a newish user comes in and says something to the tune of "The Bat is leaving because someone from Charlotte told me." Not long after the fact that Six Flags says 'xyz' isn't going anywhere....so are we supposed to trust them or not? I always try to ride The Bat as often as I can....so not much will change for me to prepare if this is true. I'll be really sad if it does end up happening.

Unfortunately, that leaves a lot to be desired, found out. Hoping someone tonight can post the menu and pricing.
