  1. That's good! I don't personally use it, but glad others can benefit from it!
  2. The 2026 season pass dining plans are able to be used in 2025, but only at the park you buy it from until January 2026. Then in 2026 you can use it at any park
  3. It's got it's own thread too. Beat you to it by a few minutes
  4. For pass add-ons, the all season dining is $135 at your home park, and $155 for the all-park dining. And for drink plans, it's $37 for regular paper cups and $54 for the ICEE and hot chocolate. I also just heard from KI that the pass perks can only be used and redeemed by the park that you bought your ticket from (your home park)
  5. The Six Flags MVP is now on sale! This offer is good through September 1st. The passes are good through the rest of this year and next year. I'm curious why Cedar Point passes are more expensive than Kings Island to get a new pass. But what prevents someone from buying a pass that is cheaper than KI? Well, you must activate your pass at the park you buy it from.
  6. It's funny that all the attention is at Siren's Curse right now. It's like everyone forgot about the big giant lawn ornament. Siren's Curse is sitting at 82% uptime and it's problematic neighbor is sitting at 62%. Siren's Curse isn't even at the bottom either. Rides like Rise of the Resistance had more problems when it opened than Siren's Curse is having right now. But you didn't see anyone making a big deal about it. I could care less, and I'm excited to ride it soon!
  7. Nope because they decide the day of when to sell it and no one knows when they'll sell it!
  8. You forgot about No Ice Water Lake! And then when the ride is over and you exit through the gift shop (assuming it's open of course) you'll have a chance to buy your very own SIX stock!
  9. I edited it after realizing that this was in fact for the 2025 season passes, not 2026 My bad 2026 KI MVP Sale starts July 31 https://www.cincinnati.com/story/entertainment/2025/07/25/kings-island-season-pass-all-six-flags-amusement-parks/85361124007/
  10. Dollywood beat Universal to the rocking boat ride Anyway, I would absolutely LOVE a rocking boat ride! Looking at pieces of track from Mission Bermudes and Dollywood's new track, they look almost IDENTICAL! Dollywood has the potential to make this THE BEST ride at Dollywood and possibly even better than Epic Universe's rides! If the queue is amazing as well, they could really put Dollywood on the map along with Disney, Universal, Seaworld, and Legacy Cedar Fair Parks! (okay, I exaggerate a little, but still. It could be AMAZING!) Very excited!
  11. Thanks for the update @brenthodge! I'm really hyped for this new Dollywood ride! IMO, I think it will be some sort of boat ride/coaster similar to Journey to Atlantis at Seaworld Orlando. Is that powered track? It doesn't look like it but not sure. That doesn't look like any manufacturer track I know, Dollywood might be working with multiple companies to bring this ride to life. I'm really confused from the teasers because it is both "taking flight" and "taking a plunge". I will be following this project very closely the next few weeks to see when we might find more clues. When do you think Dollywood will announce this new ride? Here's a video by Attraction Ideas about what could possibly be going on here. I know his ideas are a little far-fetched sometimes, but I found this video quite interesting:
  12. Obviously for the ground-up RMC that is coming!
  13. Glad to hear your opinion! I'm almost 100% sure that it wasn't a typo. It's really too early to tell what might be coming next
  14. I wouldn't be surprised if we got an announcement in late August early September. I think the new attraction will be in the Crypt building and be a non-roller coaster attraction. It's unclear what's actually going to happen and until we actually see work being done (which we may not see if its in the Crypt building), I'm not gonna waste my time making pointless predictions I could see them doing this, but is this a "family thrill attraction"? I would love to see Boo Blasters revamped, especially if it was something less out of place like the current ride. But if they do revamp Boo Blasters, I only want one thing from KI. One thing. Don't care about the rest, just please please please give us Blasters that actually work!!! Every time I attempt to play, I just get angry at the dang blaster and quit. I feel like I'm being rage-baited. Anyway, give us some decent blasters that actually give you points when your blaster is two feet in front of the target and I'll be happy. Another thing I'd like to see done with Boo Blasters is if they added screens to the ride. Even better: interactive screens where you shoot moving targets. If KI demoed the old omnimover ride system and replaced it with a new shooting ride vehicle, I think they could qualify it as a "family thrill attraction" and it would be a worthy replacement of Boo Blasters. Would a new ride system be realistic at all? And would they be able to do all that during the off-season?
  15. We all knew that Siren's Curse would have issues with it's tilt from the beginning. It's just a matter of how LONG these issues last. That's where TT2 was deemed problematic-when it shut down for nearly a year. But I'm not worried about Siren's Curse. I'm hoping to head up there next Monday!
  16. The reason I like Iron Gwazi better than SteVe is because of its pacing. Steel Vengeance is great, and it is so amazing until it hits the breaks, which the ride becomes good instead of amazing. It starts slowing down a bit, and the elements under the track seem a little repetitive. But Iron Gwazi has no mid-course, so it can tear through the layout like a freaking monster without stopping until hitting the brakes. That is why I like Iron Gwazi better. Now time to get back on topic! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Rip Ride Rocket as some of you may know closes on August 18. People have been speculating on what could replace RRR. Permits show and Intamin launch coaster of some kind, but the theme of the ride is unknown. Construction walls over in New York by the old Ghostbusters firehouse (just past Jimmy Fallon) have gone up, and some interesting signage has been posted on the wall by Universal. The first sign that is a reference to Ghostbusters that says they are "restoring Historic Engine 89 Firehouse". This sign was the first one and was for about a week or two. But then two more signs came up just a couple of days ago! The second one is a reference to Back to the Future. Finally the last one is a little unclear. There's a phone number posted on the sign and the area code 213 is LA. But what gives it away for me is the font and color of the writing. This sign definitely teases Fast and Furious. So this is all fine, but what does it actually all mean? Universal teased 3 IP's, so which one will replace Rockit? Will there be multiple attractions in that Rockit plot? I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Also work on the ground has already begun, and they have been working behind Rockit and just to the right of Hard Rock Cafe. What are your thoughts?
  17. They should have added on-ride cameras for RiverRacers. It would add a little something to the ride. But then again, they could have done lots to make this ride better and didn't. They should add the type of automatic cameras that Epic uses, where you tap a button on the screen and it takes your picture. Then you scan a QR code to buy the picture. No staff, easy money. Definitely something KI should look into. You could put a camera in front of the Tower or something similar.
  18. I don't think more people taking pictures is not a good idea. They can't even get staff to work at all the food places. FunPix is what it is, and people will pay for it if they really want it
  19. Iron Gwazi is my all-time fav, so I'm sure you'll love it. Ride it in the back row, it's the best. Front is good as well
  20. While I am not a huge Haunt guy, I try to make it out there twice every season. I am excited this year, and look forward to what is coming this next season. I love the fog, lights, and sometimes the music (it can get repetitive). But...not really looking forward to the long lines. I'm going to try and get lots of rides in the coming months before Haunt season starts. But overall, looking forward to this fun and scary time of the year!
  21. Now it makes sense. Thanks for the clarification!
  22. "Benefit may vary by park" - This will be very interesting... I'm curious what the prices are for these new passes and if they will end up costing more. Then maybe the Silver Pass will become the old gold pass for just one park? Also, looks like you get two single use Fast Lanes with the pass, but you can't use it during Haunt and it excludes Alpenfury
  23. Why would parties entering the single rider line be bad if they were okay with splitting up? When I go to Universal or Disney we all enter the single rider line because we don't mind splitting up. It's a great way to save time if you don't care about splitting up. We always did single rider for Smuggler's Run unless we were with other people who wanted to go in standby. It was never longer than 5 minutes. And if the line ever got too long, the attendant at the front would close the line. I'm not sure if I understand your statement.
