I am just pointing out that PTC still makes buzz bars(handrail), low seat backs for 3 row cars. The two row cars only come with individual lapbars. Check their website and check out Ravine Flyer II's cars.

Disney understands and upholds a high level of customer service. From what I have heard Disneyland has a growing annual pass sales, Carowinds always put emphasis on attendance being 75% season pass holders back in 2006. Carowinds also stressed customer service to the ride operators, it doesn't seem like they do that anymore. The ride ops this year just seemed to be there nothing more. Now when I would run across the few Paramount's Carowinds employees that I knew and a few I worked with, they are always upholding the old Paramount standards. Despite having been personally banned by the current head of security at Carowinds she will still take the time to thank me for visiting the park and make me feel welcome.

Cyclone has an automatic unlock, Goldrusher doesn't. Goldrusher only has a foot pedal. I wasn't aware Arrow had them on other types.

I have never seen or heard of this but I worked at Hurler/Drop Zone/Goldrusher/Scooby-Doo/Carousel/Jets/Biplanes. Goldrusher sometimes had to be pushed by hand out of the station in the morning.

There wouldn't be a need for the new mine train and the dark ride together. I almost think Disney want to have the Magic Kingdom and Disneyland different enough to justify going to both.

Carowinds has one side with stationary benches. The other side is just missing the original moving seats. The new moving seats will be entirely different from the original.

Would it be a fair assumption to assume that aggressive in park advertisements justifies the lower season pass prices?

If all goes well at Carowinds and CGA, don't be shocked to see a new simulator in AFX.

Hindsight is 20/20, foresight was apparently a lot lower. Maybe for 2017, but I suspect it wouldn't be a real dark ride but instead like AFX. It is really too early to say.

Yes please! I hate Christmas as a holiday but I loved Carowinds Winterfest. I worked the second ever Winterfest at Carowinds, it was slow at first but around Christmas it got busy and stayed that way.

Whale would you rather them go out in the ocean and trap orcas like other Marine parks did(or another company did for said parks)? According to my research only one of the whales not born in a marine park may have be trapped and not came from another park. I am pretty sure the NCZoo uses artificial insemination and it is one of if not the largest zoo of its kind.

Carowinds new gate is nice...until you find out what the old one looked like. Then you want to throw up a little. That is exactly my point, Carowinds had a beautiful Disney-style gate. It was a Southern Plantation House and was one of the few things left in the park that hadn't been remodeled. Carowinds told ACE members at C3 that Paramount management didn't maintain the structure, it has water damage and needed a new HVAC system. Paramount hadn't ran Carowinds since 2006, this was 2014. Cedar Fair management deserves half or more of the blame too. I love Fury but there is more to a park than coasters. The old maingate was like "Welcome Home", the new one says "Welcome to the fair" to me. Between the Plantation House and Thunder Road, Carowinds is murder the heart and soul of it's park.
