Back to the original story, why on earth is he still being subjected to a rehire interview after 12 years of employment? And an employee who's worked there that long is suddenly not a good fit now?

Even there SFMM dominates their market, compared to KBF it seems. The only other FUN park out that way is 4 1/2 hours from SIX.

Keep in mind that KI is well aware of enthusiast speculation and loves to mess with us at times. See the pre-Banshee "Bat" teaser. I doubt they'd be teasing about a new attraction for 2017 this soon.

I'm honestly surprised they've been given as long as they have. I don't see how any amount of mediation can result in a positive outlook for the park unfortunately.

And he still wants us to believe that they know what they're doing?

For Slingshot - just sit back and enjoy the view. You're really secure inside that little ball, and you get a great view after being launched into the air. It's one of my favorite rides at the park, though I don't ride it too often because I don't usually get over that way early enough to get the $5 ticket, and it can take a good 30 minutes or more to get through the line once you decide to ride it.

The thought of a combined FUN and SIX scares me... I can't even imagine how that would work out well.

I would imagine they stopped using them when technology improved to the point where they could have good quality security cameras monitoring the lift hills.

I wasn't aware of that at the time. I guess their concern is that you might accidentally drop your camera or cell phone. I'll keep that in mind next time.

I actually predicted that happening back in July. While I was on the sky ride I noticed some people on the water tower so I zoomed in for a better look:

I liked both coasters the way they currently are. If VR is the only option I may be skipping one of them this year.

There's no guarantee the apartments will be happening at this point. Rezoning was approved and nothing has happened since then.

Just bought my ticket and registered as well. Also chose the 1pm Beast tour time so I'll have more time to ride stuff between the tour and the rest of the event activities

This is partially true, where the soccer balls are stored still have seats unfortunately, it would be so much easier to get all the bags of balls out if they didn't. The other half is always set up for urgent scare. Last time I was in the non-Haunt section of that theater, the seats had been removed. This was several years ago, when the dino film debuted. The Dinosaur's movie didn't last very long, because I had only rode it once, the next year when I went to see it, they told me it was gone. It only lasted two season I believe. I need to get down that way again at some point. I stopped at Mammoth Cave on my way back from Nashville a number of years ago but didn't have enough time to see all there is to see, and working nights and weekends makes it hard to take day trips.

Not looking forward to the crowds of people standing around watching the game if that's where they're putting it. That area is already congested enough as it is.

That will likely depend on how popular elephant ears were among money-spending park guests. It will be interesting to see what they put in that space.
