But when Ed hart had the park he added big rides each year, and made money? Also could someone package just the water park? Agree with Louisville being so close to bowling green with the bend, and holiday world and Kings Island, they have almost made Louisville out of the park business. My opion it would be nice for someone to save it, but atleast at the very least save the rides and sell them. Bring back to KINGSISLAND the ride they sold, and possibly the ferris wheel would be great!

If this deal doesn't work between Koch's and ky state fair board, are any of the rides able to be sold to be reused, how much longer can they sit there.

I hope they repaint the gemni coaster cars to fit more the mine creek type ride.

So the beach winter event that they had locked up really except competing with the zoo, and a drive thru sharon woods was cancelled because of finances? That seems like it would make money for them to me atleast. Will the beach be here in 5 years? Hope they make it, as i kind of wish Surf Cincinnati would have made it too, even as a night time /Caddy's fun it was interesting. I know we tried the caddy's / night time water park it was cool, to relax with drinks, and some club atmosphere.

Yes my boys it was one of their favorite rides, I wish at the top where the guy is you could say no soaking from the snoopy. So yes I've protected my boys many of times too. Its a memory builder kind of ride.

How's the beach doing in Cincy would KI /Cedar Fair ever buy them if they had the opportunity, I do like some of the attractions at the beach. Will they add some new stuff?

Had'nt been to the fort wilderness, done great wolf, the ones up north in sandusky, and the pirate one that is indoor above holiday world, that was not too bad. I live out in vegas, but try to get in to KI, our park minutes from where our live is suppose to open Memorial day and so much of it seems not even to be started on . It will be a hawaiin falls, owned park. But thanks for the action river explanation, the volleyball will be cool too at Kings Island, Could they ever make the wet side a seperate park, does anyone think that could happen?

I thought p.r. went to an outside company now at Cedar Fair, so will anyone keep their jobs? Also do you think really coasters will not be built as much under the new boss?

First thing is doesn't anyone feel we need a relaxing river too? Will there be one added in the future? Also the names soon would be nice, I'm sure they have them. Also when will be the next year for a water park expansion with new slides, without removal of old ones? Also doesn't anyone else feel the removal of something like the nestea plunge was a mistake? water coaster longest and best in the world 2013! You could only hope.

I would think anything would be great for Kings Island as long as the log flume stay's for younger family members, which Cedar Point does not have for sure. Unless you count sir rub a dub tubs at the point. Time will tell, but the worlds longest water coaster would knock holiday world right off the map on that!

If Ky kingdom does go under sure hope the ride that Kings Island sold them comes back to Kings Island probably not a chance.

That is a great thought, to do some minor fixes, like fix Adventure Express, train ride make it a great ride, with theming and such.

I thought really in coaster history The Racer at Kings Island returned the wooden coaster to parks? Or not?

Just a sit down wait staff cafe something in the a.c. would be great. Wow didn't realize about The Racer and how hard the paint job would be indeed. Could The Racer see its days numbered?

Another ride that was removed that was great was the indoor coaster they had, and of course chang too. I think private dollars would make this work, how about Herschend entertainment buying it? Someone should?

Some classic flats, great tasting food, and paint The Racer. Could we finally get a sit down wait staff restaurant at Kings Island. Didn't fully understand a few post ago what would happen if the park would paint The Racer? Just a wondering?

Did anyone else read, where the new boss of Cedar Fair wanted to take out older rides, maintenance problems. I'm sure parts are harder and harder to find for older rides...
