  1. Tent camping sites are rarer and rarer these days. Mostly limited to areas near state and national parks. Also, I wonder what this future Kings Island Drive extension is?
  2. The bar will stay, but I don't think there are any laws that prevent them from sitting at the bar in Ohio. Highly unlikely that they will offer a sit down experience.
  3. If any of the food in the park was half as good as Applebees, they'd be in a good spot. And I hate Applebees.
  4. We used to call it the Fustercluck the year that WindSeeker opened.
  5. I think you guys are SEVERELY over analyzing a cartoon map version that is rarely accurate for how that area is going to look.
  6. That is a serious pinch point between The Vortex entrance and the edge of the Antique Autos. I also think what you are seeing on the left of that photo Rick is the maintenance road that ran along that side of Racer and back behind the Bunge.
  7. I know it was always implied that it was an Indiana Jones ride, but is the reason it never became one, due to the fact that Disneyland had it's own Indiana Jones ride that opened in 1995? I have to think that was a factor.
  8. You do if you live in an HOA neighborhood. You are supposed to file documents if you do any construction on your house.
  9. The Bermuda Blitz and Wildfire both look pretty awesome.
  10. They had a different flavored cotton candy every week if I recall right. Most of them sounded
  11. That ride is like 8000 feet long, would be pretty cool until it drowns you going off the boat.
  12. I'd say it's just a fillet weld. They don't show any prep work to the base material being done. Still a very strong weld though.
  13. Seems like it is going to be a very expensive, overhead heavy attraction. Not sure how popular it's going to be at America's Rock N Roller Coast.
  14. I was trying to figure out why they'd need to hydraulically lift the trees up from the ground until I kept reading.
  15. We already had a queue like this, it's currently an empty beige box in Rivertown.
  16. Could be related to the gearbox or chain lift motor. Possibly a flat ride as well.
  17. The only problem with VR is if one of the headseats goes down, someone is just riding a ride in the dark.
  18. I've stayed at that hotel several times when I was younger, probably for the best it's getting bought up.
  19. Probably depends on the manufacturer. Hard to say who makes what components though. It's pretty apparent that no one is making their own track.
  20. Cedar Point still has Corkscrew which was built 11 years before Vortex. I don't see Vortex going anywhere anytime soon, honestly. I wish they'd put some new trains on it, with soft OTSR, honestly.
  21. For people who don't have passes, they might spend an extra night than they would have, sure, but I highly doubt they are going to return. I'll be curious to see what the impact is.
  22. I was going to comment on this as well. I'm a Mechanical Engineer, have worked in manufacturing my entire professional career. Reverse Engineering will probably work for a significant portion of things. They'll likely replace the part, confirm everything works as normal, and then sign off on that item as a suitable replacement part. There are some items, that they'll struggle with. Items that are patented. Expensive components like gear boxes, hydraulic pumps, etc. However, it should help out with a significant portion of things.
