  1. Is it bought out due to the New Years Eve event?
  2. They absolutely do not walk the steel coaster track daily, if ever. I believe they have used X-Ray machines that run along the rails to inspect the track, but the maintenance requirements aren't as high as the wooden coasters.
  3. Right, so he was breaking policy, which was my point.
  4. How do you know that wasn't the policy?
  5. It's a fine IP, not great. It has a lot of history, so it doesn't have a lot of turnover like the Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network properties. I know my niece and nephew don't really care for Peanuts though.
  6. Bring your own, they sell stadium seat cushions for fairly cheap.
  7. I hope they bring back Route 666, that was one of the best Haunts they've had.
  8. They are also currently building 2 several story hotels at Kings Mills Road as well.
  9. I had a flight in at 11 PM that night and the landing was a little iffy.
  10. The Snoopy Boutique was the gift shop the referred to.
  11. What if Kings Island bought that monorail from Jungle Jim's and used it as transportation.
  12. I'm surprised they actually went through with this. They dearly need it though. I'm surprised it's not purely for International workers. The price is pretty good. Probably far cheaper than what people are paying to live in the hotels around KI.
  13. Not true at all. They don't dispatch a consistent amount of trains in an hour.
  14. The layout looks pretty decent, about what I was expecting, honestly.
  15. Taking away alcohol sales will have absolutely zero impact. When I was in Park Services, the trash cans in the parking lot and the bathrooms were full of beer cans and liquor bottles during Halloween Haunt. If people want to drink, they'll find a way. Don't even think about mentioning that they could up patrols in the parking lot, because it's nearly impossible to prevent. That hasn't been the policy in a long time. Who cares if there is someone drinking beer? It's their business.
  16. Keep in mind that the Boo Blasters building also has the former Enchanted Theatre, as well as the dressing room for costumed characters, and the home base for Park Services as well. I would say approximately half of that building is used for Boo Blasters.
  17. I imagine this coaster is going to be a record breaker. The tallest giga with a chain lift is 325 feet (Fury 325). Would be cool if it unseated Steel Dragon 2000 as the length holder as well.
  18. The milkshakes at Hersheypark are incredible.
  19. I was an alcoholic long before this, sorry pops.
  20. These are going to be very short, they even said so, I think it's somewhere around 1/4 of a mile length. It's a 3 minute ride on the cars. Look at Valleyfair's antique cars for an idea of their size.
  21. I figure there will be 2, if the lift hill is slow enough, they might not sit in the brakes too long.
  22. I would imagine the biggest concern on these rides is capacity.
  23. Same layout, modified from the original Stealth layout.
  24. Don't forget about converting Flight of Fear to MTV: Soundwave (I think that's what it was going to be called).
  25. I also think the way the ride layout would have been in AZ would have been better, as you would have had walking paths around it, instead of it being tucked back in a corner of the park. I think Nighthawk has pretty good placement at Carowinds.
