My girlfriend was wondering why the intensity system is so weird at Cedar Point. I'm assuming that it translated down here as well. For example, the antique cars are a 3! I don't understand that at all. Vortex should definitely be a 5 though, as for AE, I could see a 4, just because it's a bit rough. P.S. 6-1 is the best seat on Vortex :-D

Perhaps KI called them and asked for it to be removed, or they are rewriting the article. Regardless they cut operation days, and gas prices had been at record highs. However, it seems they are coming down 3.06 in Hyde Park save 10 cents with Kroger Plus Card and that brought it down to 2.96. -Joe who is very happy his car gets 35 miles to the gallon.

Keep in mind that KI opened 2 or 3 weeks later than usual too...

I miss the slides, that Submarine Game, and Nick Slime City.

I haven't ridden Firehawk, but I've heard with it's placement it's actually better than X-Flight, then it's awesome.

I really doubt the trains are launching at different speeds. It probably has something to do with the weight of the train.

My crystal ball says... Magnum 1.5 hours M Force 1 hour In all honesty, no one knows. I'm assuming they will be short because it is a Thursday.

Drop Zone by far. I'd have to say though, the first roll over on Firehawk (I rode it as X-Flight) was pretty freaking scary.

We're getting Dominator from GL. No, but in all honesty, I voted water park, but I think it's a water park attraction and flat.

I'm guessing they are probably just landscaping and such, but it's plausible. I see some flats and a water park expansion coming this year, with a big coaster in 2009 or 2010.

I see this as being a temporary policy, not a long term thing. The midwest has been known to be very wet in the summer, and if this policy continues, it will just hurt their business.

At Geagua Lake it was a good ride, and the only reason I rode it once was because the line (and we decided to go to Cedar Point for the night instead), but the line during the week shouldn't be TOO terrible, it's definitely a new feeling.

I drove by and the parking lot appeared to be full. I think the fact that it was gorgeous out and warm probably drove people to BB.

That sucks, I'm sure it will be open when I go on the 11th and 12th though.

Fort Cooper

Welcome to PKI Central, enjoy your summer.

I'll be there sometime this summer, I don't have a pass so I can't make it this weekend. However, you are in for a treat it was my second favorite ride at GL.

I don't have a crystal ball or anything, but here are some factors that may influence the crowds. UC is still in school Most of the local high schools are still in session. It's a Wednesday (usually one of the less crowded days of the week). Enjoy your trip.

Anyone think they had a no compete clause with KI. At that point, 1996, Geagua Lake was not much of a threat to CP, while KI was.

Why would we not be out enjoying the weather it is gorgeous out.

Media Days are usually done on days that the park is not open. I was at the media day for Delirium and Scooby in 2003, don't remember how I got in though.

Cedar Point is amazing, however, Skyhawk wasn't anything to write home about. Enjoy your trip. P.S. Drop Zone scares the living bejeezus out of me.

That is a horrible photo shop job. Most people don't even know why it is Fort Cooper.

Most of these accidents probably result in a scraped knee or elbow, I can not see anything major from that.

Unfortunately these are things that will never be completely corrected, unless they have a greeter at the front of every line in the park. I see these things even at Cedar Point. Let's just face it teenagers are very disrespectful, and I can even admit to doing stupid things while I was younger. As for smokers and drinkers in line, most of them don't want to waste precious time feeding their habits, so they choose to do it while they wait in line, and chance the consequences.
