What could be worse than Proposing on Top Thrill Dragster?? The "Honeymoon".... talk about something that you shouldnt do in less than 30 seconds!!

But think about this. Raise the Platinum from $185 to $300... thats $125 PER person, per Platinum. Think of that number multiplied by the tens of thousands (guesstimate) of people who have Platinum. THERE are some greenbacks for the profit till! EDIT: AND, use those extra staffing dollars to put line monitors throughout the line to crack down on obnoxious line jumping ^*&*&^*&^*&^(*&)*%&)&{*YT&...ers!!!!! AND, take a SIX stand on it... do it and get caught ONCE, and enjoy the view of the park from Kings Island Drive.

Even though it will likely be a moot point for me, considering the distance I will be living from nearly all CF parks next season, I will say again that I would GLADLY pay $300... Hell even $400...for a Platinum Pass with its same current perks to make up for lost revenue by getting rid of this crap program. Have I had the money this year to use Elitist Lane?? Yes, I most certainly have, but the number of times Ive become one of the "1% ers" is exactly zero. Raise the price of Platinum Passes (which are, and have been, HIGHLY underpriced for years) and make it totally fair and equal for all across the board.

That is 100% correct, see the long defunct Screamroller at Worlds of Fun, that was (briefly) transformed into a standup and re-named EXT... Extremeroller.

OK, you, I, or anyone else who is a private citizen would be hanged from the highest tree in the Nation if we ever came ANYWHERE NEAR being over $900k behind in taxes, and I wont even bring up not paying said taxes since 2007!! Even though the POV looks a bit underwhelming (yes, I do know POVs can be VERY misleading at times), you have never once steered me wrong on your advice regarding coasters, especially classics. Any tips regarding "magic seats" like Vortex's 5-1, to enhance/maximize ride experience?

Even though I am about the furthest thing from a fan, or even slightly happy about, the new Administration at the park, I am actually planning our move to Colorado around HW opening day for this ride.

Which is EXACTLY why the predicted debacle is going to occur. There are MANY who are going to think this same way, and only a small portion of them will be individuals like those of us who belong to and read forums such as this (enthusiast/hobbyists). My thoughts? Park is not as busy, thus making the enthusiast events less of a strain on operations. I feel that is the reason that CoasterMania was reduced from a 2 day event to a 1 day event after 2011. Also, with the time of year that the events are scheduled, its not "peak season", and in CMs case, its a Friday where many of the youngins are still in school ( ).

Let me play PC/Diplomat and say that, age, vision, and a different Life direction have all made me look at the people and the hobby differently. Edit to correct grammatical error.

I posted a pic on my Facebook page of all of us at RWCW during The Beast walkback... those were good times. Things have just "changed" after about 2010, which I know is inevitable but, remember how much fun we all had together at HWN 2010? I miss those days, of when I first came to know of this site back in December of 08, all the way up until those days (after the 2010 season in my opinion) when the Community I knew and really Loved took a turn.

OK, two things related to that article. 1)On what part of the ride does Racer reach nearly 60mph? 2)Where is The Beast at, in regards to rider count?

We were at the gates, ready to load the next train that came in, when Don walked up to her and talked to her on the train... car 1, seat 2. Not too bad, being within 30 people of the landmark. it was cool to see .

I am going to make my way to Rampage next year as well... it will be a first time for me, and Im definitely looking forward to it.

The only park that I know of that gives club discounts to any coaster club is Holiday World, and they do it for ALL coaster clubs on the "recognized" list.

I think any proposed splashdown should flop into a big pool of Aspercreme... just in case any riders have "cramps". Or, introduce a fire element and name the ride "The Burning Jersey". Sparky.... not a fan

Didnt they try this money-grab on Raptor in the past? If you will notice, the cameras are no longer on Raptor. Nuff said.

They can if its not a brand new B&M......

The same way Diamondback looks this year.... 5 years old and looks 25.
