Accident/Derailment on Manhattan Express
Oldschool75 replied to gforce1994's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
I agree. Looks like a very fixable problem. Appears the wheel assembly came off and caused the train to hit the stairs and bend them. -
Very hard to find the older ones. I have 1 piece of the technical drawing for The Racer Blue side station and lift. Missing the rest. I have foundation blueprints for MT as well. Those were purchased from the city of Mason. If you have have the project number and it’s on file at the city you can purchase copies. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

They just want to put up some lights for the holiday season like everyone else.

If one of those people you are speaking of is me. Well, I don't make wild claims, I'm not looking for attention like some others. Also, if I feel like giving this site another chance that's my prerogative. I do have some exclusive info sometimes, which if I'm asked not to share, I don't. I know there are others out there that are privy to information as well. Some even here, well until they are chased off. I'm was not being condescending with my previous post. I simply stated that a document does exist with specific information that I have in my possession but I'm currently unable to share it at this point. When I'm able to share it, I will. Good day.

Yes, the B&Ms shut down due to high winds, not temps around3-3:30.

I’ll call it now. A new light package for Killmart. Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I just got off Racer. I can confirm these survey markers. Also noticed utility markings all the way down to Monster behind the buildings. My guess, something you do with Racer? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have them. I’m not at the liberty to share them at this point. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

And the final ride’s plans I obtained show just the helixes with the inversions removed. The plans also have notations of the ride’s behavior in the each element. Great recreation gforce1994

Go ride Orion and see for yourself. The original layout had dual inversions. Yes, I said Orion. Here is one of the full-size inversions built. Photo credit Kings Island Blog/Sit On It Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Great job Kyle. Nice fact filled blog. Nice to see the original POV seeing the light of day. -
There was a bridge over swan lake at one time, also one over the lake at the Biergarten Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Smh. People are greedy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

For what track is left. Estimated 100-200. They sold out of what was completed. So most likely these will not make it to online sales. Current status of the line as of 11:37am. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think everyone is taking this out of context. I’m saying for the people that are die hard and make it a point to collect rare items this is a drop in the bucket. They will spend the money. Your everyday enthusiast or gp are probably not going to spend the money. I’m not saying anyone is less of an enthusiast. Just like car collectors. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

For real enthusiast and collectors this price is a drop in the bucket. Don’t like the price, then move along. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I doubt it since this is a limited edition product. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Well the auction was cancelled as I figured it would be. Also a 1ft section of the tube part of the track weighs about 25lbs, so shipping would not be cheap. I recently saw a piece sell for $500, I assume it was sold. You never know what the park will do. Don’t give up hope yet. You never know. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Here is a clip of how quick Racer used to enter the very short brake run. IMG_0169.mov
