The way parents act in front of their kids is unbelievable. Even how they will almost make their child cry because of small things. I once had some parents who, while they bought themselves drinks and fries with their food, wouldn't pay the extra money (I can't remember the amount, but I think it was less than $.50) for their young daughter to get cheese on her hot dog. It totally broke my heart, it was easy to tell that she really wanted it.

As I said, I was generalizing quite a bit there. I would consider most people on this site to be at least somewhat enthusiasts, but I think there's definitely multiple categories of enthusiasts- I have met some who were absolutely awesome and I had great chats with (it totally makes my day when people don't just bark out an order at me), and I've met some who nearly throw money at me. And I think families tend to be hyper-critical about different things than enthusiasts, at least from what I've seen and overheard.

Trust me, families can be that way, too. I once heard some poor employee being berated by a woman who apparently had gone into the employee break area to ask where something was, and it sounded like she was told in no uncertain terms that she was NOT allowed back there. I feel bad for what some people have to put up with.

Enthusiasts: refuse to eat in the park, rarely buy merchandise, use their season pass far more than families. Families: tend to buy food in park so they don't have to spend time driving to an outside restaurant and back, buy souvenirs and t-shirts for the kiddies, either have day tickets or use their season passes occasionally. In other words, enthusiasts= not very profitable, families= profitable. Gee, I wonder which one I would market toward. (and yes, I am aware that I am generalizing. I'm sure that some enthusiasts are quite profitable, but from what I've observed, the majority might not be)

I believe they still use that building for various things. I've heard it's where all of the park's "Super Pretzels" are made. I don't think it'd be too big a challenge to relocate that and turn the stand into a gift-shop, however. Of course, they could just build a new gift shop closer to the actual trail. I just don't see them relocating something if they don't need to, especially when it's something heavily used by a department.

Skyline has fries with shredded cheese, but they don't melt it for you.

Only to groups I think.

I wonder where that gift shop is going, and if you'll need to go into the attraction to visit it...

Since that wouldn't account for the season passholders, I couldn't see them doing that. It's not that much, either. I'd be mad if it were $10, but looking at it now, $5 isn't really that bad.

$5 extra? Seriously?

I never really minded the Dyson hand driers, except when lovely people decide that they can be used as a flip-flop drier. Of course, the Xcelerators aren't head driers, so I guess they're even. For me the Dysons tend to dry faster, too, I think.

Firehawk is really the only ride that gets super huge lines, and you can avoid those if you're smart. So, no, especially since something like Flash Pass at SF would make the lines longer for everyone else.

If you hate the park so much, perhaps you should stop going.

Are you ever happy with ANYTHING Kings Island does?
-
I hadn't even thought of that- now I wonder if it'll be an upcharge.

I saw it today. I think they added some landscaping around the dinosaur?

If you have a cell phone in its case on a carabiner, you need to make sure that the cell phone case stays shut during the ride. -
ok, lol, like I said I didn't know how true it was. As for friday, do u think they actually could be working on sob and teasing us with other things making us think it is a dino walkthrough? (credit to whoever originally posted this, I can't remember? Gordon Bombay, thanks Terpy, lol)

The main reason I don't think this is a museum exhibit type thing is that, would they really pave a brand new path and clear so many trees for something temporary?
-
Doesn't it seem slightly dino-shaped? I can sort of make out a neck, torso, and the beginning of the tail?

If it were about SoB, the hints wouldn't nearly all be about an area in Coney Mall, unless they're moving SoB.
