Decoding Episode II: Rivertown 2017 and the Falling Trees

Your content is presumably still there, giving him pageviews. One of my biggest beefs with that site (from the code of "conduct"): So, if I join the club, Alvey picks who I'm allowed to meet up with at, say, Coasterstock? Am I reading terms for a coaster club or a cult? Non-disparagement clause? Really? I guess it's good I don't have a membership to suspend or revoke. -

Not me! One of the advantages of not ever creating an account there. -

Well, if you're a site owner who wants to ensure that everyone on your site always agrees with you... -
Mess with a seatbelt at Holiday World after it's checked, and you'll quickly find yourself banned from the park for life.

Nice to see that KI's Action Theater building is apparently getting used again after 3 vacant (summer) seasons. With construction there, I wonder if Urgent Scare is gone this year? -
Too bad this didn't happen. It's too late, now!

There's a private residence where Kings Mills Rd dead ends south of the park. My sister once ended up there when attempting to navigate the area with a GPS. The intended address was on the section of Kings Mills Rd north of the park (that runs toward Mason from Kings Mills).

On PointBuzz, it was noted that "Mean Streak" Henry would be glad to see a new incarnation of the ride - as long as the Mean Streak name is kept at least in part.

I'm certainly not qualified to debate construction, copyright, or public records law, but see Wikipedia's guidelines to editors concerning the copyright status of public records. The Cincinnati-area press is not the Sandusky Register. Wondering... is ridonkulous an Alvey-ism? -
There's probably not a long line at Woodstock Express...

Obtaining a copy of something doesn't necessarily give you the right to make & distribute additional copies yourself. -

For various legal reasons, I would highly suggest not posting them publicly. Copies of public records are available through proper channels for those who are interested. From what little I have seen, details on the plans that people have obtained seem to be limited to the small section of the structure marked "current work area". -

I do have to wonder what the staff think when someone wearing a coaster shirt & cargo shorts walks into the Mason building office... -
If he hasn't already, he should activate his account by clicking the link in the e-mail that was sent when he signed up. If his password doesn't work, or if he never got that e-mail, he should use the "Forgot my password" link to reset his password. Once the password is reset, he should be able to log in. If he doesn't receive the confirmation or password reset e-mail, there may be an issue with his spam filter or e-mail provider. He should be sure to check the spam/promotions folder in his e-mail, if applicable.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions & beliefs. Crucially, at least here, all are expected to respect those of other members. Negative comments about this event aren't respectful in this thread - regardless of your own beliefs. If you don't like this topic, you don't need to respond to it. This is a private event held when the park is closed to the public. Nothing is being shoved in anyone's face.

^ Louisville-area & Indianapolis-area Kroger stores sell discount Holiday World tickets, as of the last time I checked. You should call your intended store first, of course, if you go that route. (I'd recommend the Kroger in Carrollton, KY, which also tends to be one of the cheaper places on I-71 for gasoline.) Each AAA region stocks their own list of attraction tickets; Holiday World tickets weren't stocked by AAA Ohio or AAA Ohio Valley when I last checked.

Tickets purchased with a coupon at the front gate don't incur processing fees.

You can go ahead and spend that now, as Lightning Rod has officially opened. -
It was announced that the event raised more than $12,000. That would be 60+ campsites at $200 each, with each campsite including up to 4 guests.
-
I'd avoid passive aggression with a stranger in public. Depending on the demeanor of the guests involved, I'd either inform a ride operator that my assigned seat is occupied or simply tell the riders that they seem to be in the wrong seat.

Just noting: version 3 will be EOL on April 1, 2017. Hopefully Terp has a new phone by then!
