Sorry, but I believe that anyone who has inside info isn't talking. As the saying goes, Those who know, don't talk. Those who talk, don't know. It has held true for a long time now. Here are some of the rumors over at pointbuzz concerning Maverick. 1)It's another launched coaster. 2)It's going to be 500ft. tall. 3)It's going to be inverted. 4)It's going to have a top hat. Or, any combination of the above.

I was on here yesterday at that time too. I tried to PM you a message, Ryan, but it kept saying that I couldn't do that. It kept automatically re-directing me to a gaming page and I kept going back to try and send PM's. I didn't think to look for your e-mail.

It should be slow on a Tuesday. I would think the busiest days would be Thursday through Sunday.

Yup. You caught me on that one. I meant to say to eat before or after the 5p time because that's when everyone else is eating.

There was a small mishap with the skid brakes that caused them to change them to magnetic. I think it was a small collision in the station with another train. If I remember correctly, no one was injured and all were sent to the hospital just to be sure.

Great pics, combat. Fish eye lense? That is odd, Vortex, that you had bad service at Festhaus. I usually eat there, but also expect the line to move slow as it usually does. Unless you try to go when everyone else is not eating, generally in the 5:00p area

SOB is a great coaster. However, it is a bit rough, but nothing you can't handle. The loop is awesome and one of my favorite parts next to the Rose Bowl. On a side note, my first looper was the Screamin' Demon. I was nervous while climbing the tower, but, after it was over, I loved it. It was also the first coaster I rode that went backwards.

With the extreme popularity of the Nick characters, I would renew the contract when it expires. I hate to say it, but, the Peanuts characters are not as recognized by the kids of today as Nick characters. Personally, I love Snoopy and pretty much feel the same way about the HB characters, but, there are too few kids who know either one.

Well, back to my .02. I never had a problem with smokers, even in line. Maybe it's just the smokers that I dealt with, but NO smoker ever was rude enough to blow it in my direction. And, it's never really irritated me since it was ocurring in the open air. I do agree with Boddah in that I think a lot of people claim to be allergic when they really aren't. Just like nearly every overweight woman claims to have an overactive thyroid. I mean, I'm sure that some do, but, if you ask nearly every one of them, it's not their fault that they are overweight because they have an overactive thyroid.

You got to ride Vortex 10 times? Amazing that you had that many rides in a day. I've had good days where I got to about 18 or so rides, but not 25. And you left at 6? The 18 took me all day. Which do you like best? Any bad experiences?

For me, it's somewhat nostalgic. I have been going to KI since it opened. A lot of great family memories came from that place. From the great shows of the '80's, to the openings of The Beast, The Vortex, and many other great rides. I miss the old HB characters too, but, realistically, children know Nick now, not HB.

It says that the licensing agreements come with the park. I know I've read elsewhere that they do plan on using the licensing agreements. Someone will have to search that and find out where because I can't remember if it was here or Pointbuzz or Coasterbuzz. 8. Will Cedar Fair keep the Nickelodeon and Paramount theming throughout the acquired parks? The transaction includes the licensing agreements with Nickelodeon and Paramount. The Nickelodeon licensing agreement expires within four years and the Paramount agreement expires within ten years, subject to certain early termination rights. We have not made any decisions at this time about how best to utilize the rights under the license agreements going forward. Most of all, here's the most logical reasoning, from this board no less. J Zarley's post on second page. It even says "how best" to utilize them, meaning, utilzing them, not ditching them.

I voted for Adventure Express, but like Boddah said, it's really hard for me to pick a least favorite as I still like to get a lap on it now and again.

If you are relying on screamscape for the facts, you'll come to find out that they are wrong about a great many things. In other words, wait for the announcement. Not trying to be mean, just keepin' it real, in the words of Dave Chapelle. Dollywood will release the real stats soon enough. Screamscape thought the footers for Wicked Twister was going to be where they put a coaster similar to Superman at SFMM. We all know where that theory went.

This should put an end to the questions of will KI keep the movie and nickelodeon theming. Great job!

^They won't be spending money re-theming rides any time soon. There are already agreements in place to keep the movie themed and Nick attractions the same.

KI doesn't need a freefall ride, so I don't see Demon Drop relocating from CP. I realize that CP has two, but, as everyone knows, they are trying to sell DD.

^No, it really doesn't matter. However, the poll was asking if you think that Avatar is a coaster or not.

I would say that neither will happen. Corkscrew is one of the most photographed coasters in the park with the corkscrews going over the midway. I don't think we'll see the tallest, fastest anything either. CF wants to keep Cedar Point and KI with two different personalities. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Without any coasting, there is no rollerCOASTER.
