I think the event is sponsored by the Coasterbuzz web site. There's some kind of fee you have to pay in order to go to the event. Obviously, if you belong to the coasterbuzz club, the fee to participate is less.

Good article, Chef. All parks are beginning to see the light when it comes to water parks. You can build an entire water park for the cost of one coaster.

Geauga Lake has been under Cedar Fair for two seasons. The drop in attendance was still due to Six Flags' management. CF had control of GL for one month before opening. There's nothing they could have done to bring in more people the first year as advertising budgets had already been decided and not many people were aware that the park had changed hands. If there is a drop in attendance after this season, then you can say it's CF's fault. They are trying to reverse years of bad management and the public's negative opinion of that park.

What proof are we looking at exactly? Well, eventually they'll have to dig up some other forgettable Paramount movie to theme a ride to. I guess Sky Captain is as good as any.

Personally, I never watch the video any more, so it's no big deal. I remember when the room would go dark, you would get pegged by flying change and other stuff.

I was stuck on The Beast's second lift hill for about 10 minutes. There was some problem loading someone in the station. No biggie, but my ex-girlfriend freaked out.

I thought it would be impossible to get stuck on top. You would think that an inch one way or another would shift the weight and either force it over or backwards.

But, they didn't ask where to go for discounts. They asked how much ticket prices are.

They're not being rude. It's common sense to go to www.pki.com and look at the prices for tickets or season passes. Is that really so much to ask? By the time you type and post about the price, and then wait for an answer,you would already have known had you just gone to the web site to begin with. If I wanted to know what ticket prices are, I certainly wouldn't come here looking.

First thing you want to do is ask someone here who is in admin. as the pics are the property of PKIC or one of the photographers, if not both.
