DisneyWorld Closes For The 5th Time In History
Yes and no. Not sad as safety is #1 priority for the residents of FL. I suppose sad in that it had to

Boo Blasters opinions and predictions
Funny that this topic re-emerges year after year for quite some time now. I think a lot of people feel that it needs to be replaced and I would agree with that sentiment. I liked Phantom Theater and wouldn't mind seeing something similar, although I am doubting this only due to the fact that it seems the shoot-em up dark rides seem to be in right now. I, for one, would love for this ride to be the addition for 2018. Speaking of which, when will we hear an announcement for 2018?

Flight of Fear questions
As a seasoned rider of Flight of Fear, I feel I can add a few points to this conversation. I rode it the year it opened when it was Outer Limits: Flight of Fear. The hangar used to be so full of people. I was excited to ride it as this was the first LIM launched coaster. After getting my first lap with the OTSR's, this was fun, but at the same time, a very head banging experience (not in a good way like a metal concert haha). However, when the OTSR's were removed and replaced by a lap bar, this made for a much more comfortable ride. Having been on it several times over the years, I learned from other enthusiasts that once the wheels are worn to a certain degree, the ride becomes noticeably rougher. So that definitely is something will affect your ride. However, even with having been on FOF with worn wheels, it's still not as rough a ride as The Vortex. I sincerely love this coaster as it is very disorienting and there are a lot of directional changes, which can be slightly jerky, but nothing like Adventure Express. One of my favorite parts is right at the end. I'm not going to spoil it for you, but just when you think it's over, FOF throws one last thrill at you. Enjoy!

The Giga Speculation Thread
I have only been on Dominator, and that was when it was located at Geauga Lake. It's a great coaster. Lots of speed, a rather large loop and the interlocking corkscrews are a nice touch.

Adventure Express Trains
I like Adventure Express and my son does as well. Eventually, it will leave. In favor of what? Who knows. And at what time? None of us know. All of these old Arrow coasters are getting up there in years as well. I also agree that the CCMR trains are not as comfortable. It's also a lot less fun, IMO.

I really like the Videos from George. Question. What is the white circular building behind The Racer?

"The Ledge" Trademarked by Cedar Fair
I'm not sure it would be 10 years, but not within a few years of Valravn being built. As popular as they seem to be, I wouldn't be surprised to see one in KI's future, especially with Steel Vengeance about to open which will move everyone's focus to that new coaster. I don't believe it would be a record breaker though. Next season, my son will be 52" and we will be riding Valravn, so I'll be able to see what all the hype is about with the dive coasters. Not to mention that he'll be able to ride 6 new ones altogether next year.

A Very BoddaH Farewell
Ryan, I remember when this site first came to be. There was I think PKIU and PKIGuide combined to make KICentral. You have been a major contributor and have provided great insight along with cool interviews, promotions, etc. The problem ( and I use that word loosely) you have is a good problem. Thanks for all your efforts

"The Ledge" Trademarked by Cedar Fair
Apologies, I was just giving you a hard time. I have not been on Valravn, but it looks like fun. The general public seems to like these kinds of coasters. With that being said, CF will go with that and not what the coaster community thinks KI needs. Personally, I'd like to see a wing coaster or giga coaster installed at KI. I did get a chance to ride GateKeeper and loved it. Who knows what's in store for KI in the future. I have wanted a giga a KI ever since Millennium Force opened. But sadly, that was 17 years ago. Maybe one day? It's fun to speculate though.

Too late! Cedar Point already has Valravn LOL

RMC throughout Cedar Fair?
You are correct. Racer is an ACE landmark. Not sure if it's a protected landmark? I love Racer the way it is. Good pops of airtime.

Kings Island, 1979
These are great videos! I never rode The Beast in its' early years, so I never saw the original trains fading from red to yellow. What is also a tell tale of the time of this video, they guy being interviewed after riding The Beast remarked about how smooth it is and how he had been on many coasters, so he would know something about that. The second video, I loved because it showed some rides that I thoroughly enjoyed as a kid, like the tumble bug. Also, I think I saw the arms of the Zodiac ride that appears to be fairly close to The Racer. As a final thought, you gotta love the short shorts we were sportin' in those days

RMC throughout Cedar Fair?
Now it never has more than a 10 minute wait. Wasn't so in its inaugural season. Plus, you have a lot of coasters there that thins out the crowds as well as other rides

RMC throughout Cedar Fair?
I too, would like to see a T Rex design at KI. If capacity is such an issue, there wouldn't be coasters like Invertigo and even Wicked Twister (CP). Yeah, I know Invertigo was not built by CF before anyone brings it up.

Six Flags to fly only American flags at all parks
In light of recent events, I see this as a wise move for them.

Steel Vengeance to open in 2018 at Cedar Point
Guess it wasn't too far fetched to say months ago that it was not going to open in 2017 after all.

Steel Vengeance to open in 2018 at Cedar Point
Something to think about, but these hybrid coasters are not indeed a first of their kind. Gemini at Cedar Point has wood supports and steel track. Plus, there are several other examples, i.e just about any Arrow mine train coaster. They are first in a sense of re-tracked wooden coasters with this type of track used, but still...

Thanks Silver2005! I was wondering if it would be any bigger, with the inversions and all.

Cedar Fair additions 2018
It says on the CP web site that the 30 seconds of airtime is the most on any coaster.

Steel Vengeance to open in 2018 at Cedar Point
This is going to be a great ride! Wondering what kind of height requirement there will be on this one? My son will be 52" by next summer and he's hoping to get to ride it.

Steel Vengeance to open in 2018 at Cedar Point
So, I saw a Facebook post on amusement park forum of someone who had attended the pre-announcement. Said the drop looks near vertical and there will be four inversions with lots of crazy airtime hills. Also, no questions allowed. Take it with a grain of salt.
