Believe it or not, it was not originally written by Wild Cherry, although originally recorded by Wild Cherry. I met the man whom at the time was a musician and sold the song for like $500. He really never thought it was that great of a song to begin with. Who knew?

I stayed in the old section once. I believe the air was wall mounted and they did have the electronic key cards. It was not great, but definitely beats the heck out of the nearby Travelodge. Plus, the sheer convenience of being a two minute walk away from the back gate is what really rocks.

Sorry, I was not aware that the Redhawks had a hockey team. They tried to start one at Marshall, but all that happened was a hockey club was started. Meaning, you could use the name, but you bought all of your own equipment. I think it only lasted like two seasons.

A bit judgemental, eh? I've seen weddings and proposals happen in very odd or unusual places. I think the idea is to try to be unique. Case in point...I was at a Huntington Blizzard hockey game and they were giving rides on the zamboni during intermissions. Apparently, this guy had set up his girl to get a ride and about half way finished, the zamboni stopped on the ice. The driver was feigning a problem with the zamboni and her boyfriend came out on the ice and proposed to her. I thought it was pretty cool. Italian Chef, I would say International Street right in front of the fountains.

I can't imagine being stuck at the top of Drop Tower. I'm scared enough as it is, let alone getting stuck at the top.

And that's a bad thing? Most people don't even know that Firehawk was a used coaster. How is having more trash cans bad? I'd rather see that than fewer, overflowing trash cans.

Agreed times 1000! Invertigo is smooth, provides a good ride, and there are too many rides that are identical to Head Spin. And, there aren't a whole bunch of Invertigo rides? Look at the SF chain alone.

Not sure you could use Mystery Mine or Pole Position. They both might be trademarked names. Don't know for sure. Personally, I've read in other threads some people's suggestions and they were much more lame than what CF came up with. I really can't think of anything that would be better.

I happen to prefer Head Spin to Invertigo, so that's why I would want it. But, only if Invertigo hadn't already been installed at KI first.

WOW, thank heavens that millions of people around the world disagree with that point of view. Why? I agree that it's good that the stories have urged people to read, but it is as predictable as a Scooby Doo episode (not that I'm slamming Scoob).

^If we're not getting nothing, then we're getting something. Easy people! KI probably needs to take a year off anyway. I swear, some of you folks are so spoiled you think a new attraction HAS to come every year. This is not the case.

Actually, I know this one to be true. You were the center, Dane was the goalie, and Helbig was the play by play guy. It's also a fact you guys won the championship that year! Go Ducks! Just Kidding! A rumor I heard years ago, probably a couple of years after The Bat was shut down for good, was that a little girl fell out of The Bat on the lift hill. And that was why it closed for good.

Sounds like a pipe dream to me. It also sounds like the man needs to grow up a little. I realize you have to have imagination to dream, but his imgination sounds like it ran off with his sanity. I mean, when you're a kid, who wouldn't want to design your own amusement or theme park?

Well, until I came here, I had never heard of KI being referred to as a theme park until Paramount took over. Yes, KI had more theming than say CP, but CP still has themed sections. Although, the theming has been kinda skewed the last 5-10 years or so, kinda like the way Paramount screwed up the overall theming of KI. So, maybe they will bring back the original feel of KI...maybe not. Anything, to me, is better than what Paramount did to trash some of the themed areas within the park. Yeah, Action Zone is not a bad theme, other than it's solid concrete. Otherwise, Paramount kinda destroyed the general theming of KI. Not to mention, I had heard at one point that Paramount wanted to remove the floral clock.

^That's because there have not been any suspended coasters with any inversions. I've seen a vid where Arrow had a model of a suspended with a corkscrew, but that's all. In that pic, that would have been the only banked track.

Ummm, no. No wasp problem that I know of at Camden. Just on SBNO rides apparently.

You can't just add stuff and say, well, we'll get the money from somewhere. #5 See #4 #7 Maybe the brakes have to be applied that hard in order for The Beast not to tear itself up. Are you absolutely positive? When and how did you inspect The Beast's brakes to even come up with that solution?

^That was really just sarcasm. I am very interested in going to SFOG and SFGADV in the very near future, just not this year. I am so excited about going to Dorney and possibly Kings Dominion. I'll get my money's worth out of my CF pass fo sho. I'll of course be hitting up KI 3-4 times and CP at least once.
