  1. What are you saying on your last two lines? The font is unreadable.
  2. Of course it would make money. The park still markets this ride in spite of so many saying that the park does not want any mention of the ride being uttered. Posters, t-shirts, stickers. A memorial. And on and on. I don't think the people who would buy most of the remnants would be fans, as those are few and far between, but rather fans of the memory/nostalgia of the ride.
  3. Cracker Barrel above the entrance!
  4. I don't think it would go over well in that location. It's hidden, no one would see it or smell the food cooking. The most logical location, in my opinion, is the current location of KillMart. Visible. Smellable. And the backstage area needs to be cleaned up, so this would be a great reason to do so. Outside dining with a view of Orion, The Racer and the KMAA? Inside dining for hot days and cold WinterFest days? Of course, my idea has been put forth multiple times here and poo-pooed. But I'm seeing several in agreement now. @brenthodge, from an artistic standpoint, your idea is wonderful. But I just don't see it being visible enough to be successful.
  5. While this is a beautiful building, it would be redundant as @BB1 said above (and now I'm being redundant). Plus, the sight line of Banshee from right there has so much potential. A new climate controlled eatery/entertainment destination is needed down the midway in the area formerly known as Coney Mall. Climate control is missing in this area of the park.
  6. ****Knott's Berry Farm enters the chat*** Knott's Berry Farm: Hey KI, do you need some help? *****Kentucky Kingdom enters the chat*** Kentucky Kingdom: My brother to the NE, I can give you some help and advice on how to stop this! Kings Island: Yeah no. I got this. If I escort her from the park, she may not buy a poster or a pin! Knotts Berry Farm: Ok, but keep a watchful eye. Kentucky Kingdom: Hehehe, we will take all the hot moms from Cincy we can get! Keep making them mad by allowing this crap! Disco2000: Hey, KI...you need to....step it up....
  7. I wish they would plant some Colorado Blue Spruce trees and bushes that could be shaped into topiary at the base of the tower. Replace most of the grass with flower beds. Royal it up. I don't think they should plant trees that get tall; that would detract from the grandeur of the tower.
  8. The non medical GP may not like it. It's not Haunt related, it's actually pretty clinical. However, I bet Hilda, the Great Garbonzo and Houdelini could describe some things from their perspective! Or maybe the Maestro and No Legs Larry could describe the bucket of spinal fluid in detail!
  9. As an RN, I could have chosen many, many more disturbing phrases!
  10. The black seats hide all the human grease. On the orange seats, the human grease stood out.
  11. Wonderful description! As Barry Williams says...."Kings Island is YOU!" I've come to appreciate that concept this season.
  12. It was playing on Wednesday 7-20-22 when I was there....
  13. Time to bring back the "Line Jumping is not a sport at Kings Island." I don't think there is much signage anymore. They should also have plain clothes "ride marshalls" similiar to air marshalls on the busy days. (I know this is a Disney story, but it is a transferrable concept)
  14. Either this, or the cost to make Wildcat a "new" coaster with Titan track was much more expensive than the RMC route. I would guess that GCI's Titan track, since it is new and sparingly used, is simply more expensive to fabricate. RMC, however, has done multiple conversions and has the specialty down. If it is RMCd, I hope it is reliable.
  15. Kenton's Cove Keelboat Canal.
  16. I hope they replace the stones that have already cracked.
  17. I am a beekeeper. Where there is sugar water, there will be bees. Like with wasps, you don't bother them, they won't bother you. I don't think nozzle cleaning would fix it. So much is spilled that they will still be attracted to the area.
  18. ^I'm sure someone knows!
  19. Since it's a theoretical new skyride for KI. they could put it anywhere they want. Rivertown is crowded. They could do it to a new station in Rivertown from a (future) reinvigorated Action Zone. (hopefully reinvigorated into Safari Villiage/Oktoberfest/Haunted Forest--all three of those great ideas have been bantered around these forums).
  20. Where is this located? Also, am I the only one who thinks Hilda Bovine is a hottie?
  21. I didn't give anyone any of my patients. But I thank you for your patience as I quote your grammatical error that gave me a HUGE chuckle as a medical professional this afternoon. (I make many errors too, I'm not being the grammar police, I just took this mishap as hilarious!)
  22. It doesn't help that a few of the teeny bopper YouTube "stars" have gained permission to do onride filming. Yes, park permission is granted, but hey, if (insert "star" here) can do it, I should be able to as well.
  23. It would be a terrible mistake to modernize the entrance. Sure, soften the roofline, remove the banners and add flags back. But, I agree @SonofBaconator, the way it's designed it is simply spectacular.
  24. @kiguy, it's not an attack on him or her. But this person offers almost exclusively negative feedback, some of which I agree with. But almost every post is excessively negative, to the point it seems they get only negative experiences in the park. I mean, if I went somewhere voluntarily and was distraught about my surroundings, why go back? I hate how the Junkyard coaster looks, but I still enjoy riding it. Similiarly, Action Zone is not a place I like to go. But that won't fatigue me so much from going to Chicken Shack, or Congo Falls or Banshee once or twice a season. My hope is that when they do invest in AZ, it will resemble what Kings Dominion is doing with Jungle Expedition. A new area, using what they have, but going back to the roots. Some trees planted now would be a great first step. While transplanting mature trees in commercial landscape settings is moderately successful at best, it would likely fail in Action Zone. Too much concrete to reflect heat and not enough nutrient and water sources. I worry about the Autumn Blaze Maples on International Street each summer because they start showing signs of stress each July. Native oaks, sugar maples, elms and cedar don't transplant well, even as small trees. They need a good nursery stock, or establish a tree farm out by the greenhouse. (I'd love to see more bald cypress in the park).
