CorkscrewMcPuke Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 Freestyle from Cavallino Matto in Italy should move to Kings Island. Naturally there would be an obvious name change. :^) 2 Quote
RogueFoxPaws Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 Swarm from Thorpe Park. Keep the theming and put it in Area 72! I’m a big fan of B&M Wing coasters and I just love the theming on this one. 1 1 Quote

Rivertown Rider Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 Apollo from Dorney Park. Just a really fun flat. Quote

Shawn Meyer Posted August 27, 2020 Posted August 27, 2020 I know Cedar Fair doesn't clone their rides like Paramount did and Six Flags does today, but I would love it If Kings Island built a similar Floorless model similar to Dominator at Kings Dominion. As I've said in another thread, I would love it if the route was slightly different from Dominator. I would imagine the drop would be like how Vortex used to be after the first hill, then it could make a right turn all the way around, then do a curving up hill that would turn left and then go into two loops similar to how Vortex was layed out. I know Kings Island never had a Floorless, but hey the route I propose could pay tribute to Vortex in a way. 2 Quote
SonofBaconator Posted August 27, 2020 Posted August 27, 2020 I wouldn't mind a clone if it's unique. For example I wouldn't mind a Premier Sky Rocket II as they're kinda like the Vekoma Boomerangs of today- albeit way better. Just heavily theme it and I'll endorse it. 1 1 Quote
Rivertown Rider Posted August 28, 2020 Posted August 28, 2020 I'm surprised the chain doesn't buy some flats in bulk like SF does. I don't think anyone would be that upset if for example, both us and Carowinds both got a Screamin' Swing in the same year. 1 Quote

Rivertown Rider Posted August 28, 2020 Posted August 28, 2020 Other than the WindSeekers and the Larson Flyers (for the parks that didn't already have Flyers), I can't think of a bulk chain purchase recently. 1 Quote
SonofBaconator Posted August 28, 2020 Posted August 28, 2020 I think the current business plan is diversification. Not all parks have the same things to make other parks worth visiting. I feel like having a Six Flags platinum pass would get old Quote

But even still, that small percentage still encounters the same rides when they visit each park- Batman clones, superman clones, joker clones, giant frisbees, boomerangs, etc. 1 Quote
Stitch Posted August 30, 2020 Posted August 30, 2020 I wouldn't mind having Flash: Vertical Velocity moved to Kings Island. The zero g roll is something unique and the ride itself seems like it wouldn't be too complicated to remove and rebuild. I am sure there are plenty of spots it could fit in at Kings Island. 3 Quote
silver2005 Posted August 30, 2020 Posted August 30, 2020 Move in Daredevil Falls from Dollywood for the Crypt replacement. 3 Quote

SonofBaconator Posted September 4, 2020 Posted September 4, 2020 Even though we already have Beast, Mystic, and Racer, I wouldn't say no if we got either of these honestly 2 Quote

It really doesn’t do anything. Raven on the other hand kicks ass. However both of those manufacturers no longer exist. 1 Quote
Shawn Meyer Posted September 7, 2020 Posted September 7, 2020 If we could move a ride within the park, I would choose to move Congo Falls closer to the other water rides. This would involve demolition of the Tomb raider building. I'm not sure if they want to do that just yet or not. Quote

It smooth but I thought coming out of my chair I was soooo scarred and it like moves like the whole roller coaster Quote
super7 Posted September 7, 2020 Posted September 7, 2020 Knott's Calico Mine Ride. The mountain would look fantastic where back lot coaster sits. Quote
WickedDragster Posted September 8, 2020 Posted September 8, 2020 Give me Taron and place it in the old Vortex area! haha Second place would be The Exterminator from Kennywood. Such a fun ride! 2 Quote

It is well paced. There are no back-to-back inversions except the 2 in the cobra roll (which is required for a cobra roll). There is a element between every inversion other than that. The ride however has gotten super vibrate-y over the last couple of years. KD needs to do a refurbishment on it. 3 Quote
