^ I wouldn't mind seeing something like Blue Fire, or the upcoming Helix. In my opinion, the park could use a big (key word is "big") launch coaster.

Something like Blue Fire would be awesome for our next coaster. Think something like that or even Maverick would be awesome and have it be a bit of a terrain coaster as well.

Blue Fire looks cool. I would love something like Maverick. Something with an intense terrain hugging layout. I could do without the horseshoe rolls and put in a few more hills with some good ejection air time.

I vote to take down The Crypt's old building and put in an Enterprise

or just put the enterprise inside of that big metal box... Mind blown.

^That would be pretty stupid considering you can see a whole lot out of the enterprise cars. A new topspin would be cool though.

No need to call my idea stupid, that is against Terms of Service paragraph 5 beginning with the word respect. http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php/topic/4128-terms-of-service/#entry60232. You have been warned!

Not sure that covers ideas... but it could. It would be completely different if he called you stupid instead.

But yeah, we don't need that metal box. Please remove it.

Guys what if they put a Haunt attraction in the old Crypt building? At least the building wouldn't go to waste and be useless for the whole year. Maybe the Haunt will be high quality and fun, too.

I know, sounds crazy. This will probably never happen.

Hahaha I've been warned, okay sure.

Plus it's not attacking your idea, I am saying that it would be stupid for THEM to do that. Not directing towards your ;)

I'm surprised that only a few people have mentioned something wooden so far. I think a new wooden twister coaster (not in 2015, but in the near future) would be a great addition. It would also be good for this market, since Ohio is really hurting for some good/new woodies. I love The Beast but outside of that, what else is there in Ohio (love The Racer too)?

Mean Streak (which is FAR better than anyone gives it credit for...)

Stricker's Grove Tornado

Sea Dragon (for the historical value).

And that's about it. But it's not like the whole area is hurting. Because just outside Ohio, we have:

Voyage

Raven

Legend

Thunderbolt

Jack Rabbit

The other Racer

Thunder Run

And probably more that I didn't think of.

^^I haven't ridden Mean Streak in a while but hated it last time I rode it (not only rough, but I thought the pacing was slow...beautiful coaster to look at, though). I have heard that CP has recently done some work to restore it and it's been running better as of late, I need to check it out again.

I guess my point is outside of Holiday World, where's the nearest legit post-Y2K woodie?

D'oh, I always forget about Indiana Beach (shame on me). Point taken, but I still want a new woodie at KI. I think more than anything I'd like to see either a GCI or Intamin, which I think we are short on in this region regardless of those woodie-rich parks in that state to the west. I guess RMC would be nice too but (let the controversy begin) I'm a little old school and feel like inverting woodies are a little gimmicky. I haven't ridden an RMC yet so I'm not speaking from experience.

Mean Streak is NOT a better coaster than people credit it for Haha. I'll stand by that opinion.

I'll see how it has changed when I go this year, but as of 2010, it reminded me of how SOB felt.. "pure joy".

I haven't had a chance to ride it in many years but will make the trip up this summer and if your analogy is correct.....I am super excited!!

It's time for a water ride. How about a Mack Water Coaster/ Haunted house combo in Rivertown (indoor and outdoor).....but most likely it will be Planet Snoopy ride or update of some sort.

ProSlide make true water coasters, the rest are rollercoasters with splashdowns.

If we had something like Wildebeest in our water park, perhaps I'd go there more than once every three years.

Last time I was in our water park, I was able to ride Tasmanian Typhoon and Snowy River Rampage.

That would be awesome. And they could potentially reuse the crypt building for the dark ride portion of it.

Yes. And they could jazz up the outside of the building with a haunted mansion façade. Also there is plenty of acreage behind the building for a cool coaster. They could place the splashdown on The Beast side of the property to make it midway visible.
