Would you rather Kings Island's next coaster be made out of Wood, or be 300'+ of Steel?(Giga)

I'll go with wood. Taller isn't necessarily better. A new wood coaster could compliment Kings Island's existing selection of wood well.

Im okay with the addition of another steel coaster, but i do not want to see another B&M coaster. Maybe a 300ft+ Mack Coaster. As much as i have a love for woodies, I think Kings Island already has a great lineup of wooden coasters. Cedar Point tho definitely needs another woodie.

Considering Kings Island already has three wonderful wood coasters, I'm gonna go with a giga.

 

But my favorite would be a Wild Mouse in the Crypt's box!

rather go with wood, if ki can get another great wooden coaster by GCI or RMC that would be great and maybe if GCI the first one with an inversion and call it Son of Beast 2.0 jk

Of those options I think I'd prefer a giga. But something more like I-305 to be a bit more different than Diamondback.

Think the wooden ones we've got give us a good mix, but would like to see an RMC style hybrid.

Honestly I would pick a giga, but I just get the feeling deep down we would be getting a B&M giga since that seems to be the trend here recently within Cedar Fair. If we got an Intamin giga or another make of giga, I would honestly be shocked. But I would go with my gut and believe the idea of a B&M giga would be more likely. I wouldn't complain though. I would just want to see use of the land with an aggressive layout that takes advantage of the park's geography. Something a bit more wild and different from what I have seen in the other two B&M gigas. But I guess this all remains to be seen. Just dreaming

There is so much more that they can do these days than in 1979. Yes, 1979 let that sink in... ; the park's most recent existing wooden coaster is from the Carter administration. The most recent steel coaster is from last year.

I think it's time to sprinkle in a few flats; however, if I were to choose, I'd say a nice, 3600" Giga would be awesome.

I would love to see a GCI Wooden coaster similar to Gold Striker at California's Great America placed behind Firehawk and Flight of Fear.

I honestly would love to have a giga. But I could honestly see ki getting a wooden coaster soon.

Very much looking forward to finally getting our giga. If i were to guess I would expect to see it start construction in 2018-19.

And our most modern coaster that is still standing is actually from the Bush Sr. administration.

In terms of guessing KI's next coaster, I think it won't be either of those. 

 

Of the two choices, though, I would pick a modern woodie over a giga to come first. 

My pick is a woddie from the Gravity Group with Timberliners. They are a local company that would make a great addition to the park!

I don't think the next addition will be a coaster either, and when we do get one I don't think it will be either of those choices.

So Adventure Express is not a roller coaster? And it's not wooden? OK

Adventure Express is a steel or hybrid coaster, but not a wooden coaster.  Its structure is wood (with steel reinforcements) but its track is steel, and that is what is typically counted.
