Burger King on International Street

I think it's a fun idea that could also play into the "Kings" part of Kings Island, but between the two I would rather have Grain & Grill. IMO the original dining concepts are better than franchises like Chik-fil-A, Subway, and Starbucks.

I will say if the park was forced to change out some of their dining options for franchises then I would be super open to getting a Burger King.

Absolutely not.

Yeah but think about how tasty it would be.

Imagine this: it’s hot you’re walking down I street, major swamp *ss going on in your cargo shorts. You see to your right that beautiful burger shaped logo, and it’s like “bro I was about to leave the park for lunch but honestly they already have a BK let me hit that jaunt,” and then you go inside.

A friendly BK team member greets you by saying “HERE YE HERE YE WELCOME TO BURGER KING WHAT CULINARY ADVENTURE CAN WE CRAFT FOR YOU TODAY, FIT FOR A KING!” You order a whopper, no onions because those sh¡ts are gross. It comes out to you on a black tray, and you get to consume your whopper your way while looking around at the electric atmosphere of a Burger King. Chills.

Yeah but it would be pretty awesome and a great addition to the park imo

I don't see it fitting. It's called International Street. Picture this: you're walking down the street and you see different country's flags, you see G&G, the French Corner, LaRosa's, and...Burger King. Doesn't fit in well does it? Starbucks doesn't really fit well either. I don't think it's a good idea nor will they ever do it. That's just my opinion, though.:)

Letting the chef decide what we (the guests) eat does not seem in line with what we want. We want it our way, and we want to eat like Kings, with a crown atop our heads.

When Gary Wachs conceptualized Kings Island, he wanted I-Street to be a celebration, a welcome, focused on flags, fountains, and fun. He stated that the cuisine needed to represent all nations, which would include America, it would be a disservice to him, THE FOUNDER, of KI to not include some grub that is patriots like. So what would that be?

Burgah King (pronounce this like Peter Griffin would, family guy reference lol)

YOU get to choose it your way, be a king, and get to enjoy a mother flippin custom flame grilled Whopper on I-Street. Could you imagine how magical that would be? Now imagine seeing Snoopy?

Yeah, case dismissed, it would be baller.

After looking over a few topics the original poster started, they are not what we would consider the poster child for good health. Eating BK, and smoking areas.  I for one would not dine at Burger King in the park or outside the park. I could not imagine eating a whopper with cheese and onion rings then riding the Banshee. I would only be good for a ride on the bathroom stall after suffering from nausea, heartburn, indigestion, upset stomach, and diarrhea!

Only for people foolish enough to drop $12 for a Whopper meal that isnt worth the $7 it costs at a normal BK.  Nah, take that idea down the street.

"Ok so that's one Whopper with extra cheese and onion, small order of fries and a medium drink? Yes? Ok that order comes to the amount of $81.97. Will that be credit or meal plan?"

I know it doesn't fit the "International" Street theme.... BUT Panda Express doesn't exactly fit in a German "haus" theme either. Grain & Grill Intl. Kitchen at least fits it in name... and some of the offerings therein- except there's not much "grain" and -maybe- one thing is grilled.

But, on the BK thing.... no.

Then they will ask you to round up for charity (Zimmermans pockets) but not just the $.03, they will ask to round up to an even $100.

I've always wondered if those 'round up' donations customers make at checkout are included in a company's reported charitable contributions for tax purposes.

Unless they are somehow working with said charity to cook the books together (which I woiuldnt put past SIX, but I couldnt see any reputable charity doing it) that wouldnt be possible.  I can say this with confidence because Ive got an accountant sitting 8 feet away from me as I type this, and with all things being above board there is a key on the POS that is pressed when you make said donation that will show the amount you rounded up on your receipt denoting the donation.  Check your KI merch receipts and it will show such if you still happen to have any laying around from '24.
