Why wouldn't you want it to stay open longer than a week? Curious...

Maybe this and Siren's Curse will do something to help everyone not be shoulder to shoulder on some of the midways this year. I don't think it's a good idea to limit guest attendance, but some of those crowd pictures (especially from Haunt) looked straight up dangerous.

A couple of the Saturdays during Halloweekends and especially the entire Columbus day weekend, are some of the busiest weekends of the year for CP- to the point: park nears or hits capacity, the park runs out of food, the overflow parking lot is used etc.

Of course, it's weather pending.

I'll be there in August, so hopefully it is working and proves reliable! Fingers crossed! The original Top Thrill was one of my favorite ride experiences. So, hopefully this will be just as fun.

Looking forward to Siren's Curse too since I have never ridden a tilt coaster before. Then there is Maverick, which is my favorite ride in the park!

It's been 2+ years since I made it up there so can't wait!

We're planning on going up in the fall as well. Now that we have had a fall visit to CP, we no longer have an interest in summer visits. Looking forward to a (hopefully) successful year for both TT2 and Siren's Curse!

I don't even know if I can say which one I'm most excited to ride as they are both very different experiences and my opinion changes by the day. At this particular moment, I think I am more excited for SC because that thing looks like something that could compare to Maverick/SteVe levels of crazy with that tight layout. But then other days I get more excited for TT2 for the speed and height and of course to revisit an old friend with a new hairstyle lol

Top Thrill 2 is open.

I was right. They SPECIFICALLY made sure TT2 would run, but Ka got the axe just so Cedar Point can have the tallest and fastest coaster in North America..................... Cedar Fair stole Sirens Curse from SFNM and gave it to Cedar Point when it wouldve been better somewhere else...... And they got their wild mouse 2 years ago too......... This marks 3 years IN A ROW that Cedar Point has gotten investments, but KI gets held back and we haven't gotten anything at all.................................. Other parks are getting held back............. They even axed the OTHER 400 foot coaster at Magic Mountain........ just so Cedar Point can have the only one......................

Cedar Point is the golden child and it will be at ALL costs.

TT2 is just as phenomenal as last year! I didn't notice any side sway and holy cow the rhythm of trains being sent today!

Can't wait til they close all the parks but Cedar Point ;-)

Talk to budget friendly Koontz....he's the one who can/should be petitioning things for KI....but hey we got a kid coaster last year.

When running at full tilt with its custom music and sound effects TT2 is quite a fun spectacle with trains almost always on the move. Lots of energy around the midway and grandstand.

Just wait until Sirens Curse is running at full tilt ;)

I think I'll be skipping TT2 as it looks a bit extreme for me, but I'm very happy to hear that it's finally running.

I hope this is permanent and it gets demolished like Ka did. Just so Cedar Point can't have it. Lol.

I would rather have TT2 than no TT2...

Anyway, does anyone know why it's been down?

I'm not sure of the exact reason, but apparently they closed the TT2 midway last night and there were maintenance workers seen inspecting the spike.

The spike is the new part of the ride. If they are having problems with less than a year old track, I don't know what to tell you!

It's once again a rather expensive lawn ornament... While it's down I wish the park would take some time to look into re-redoing the locker situation so it is small items only and up near the station. The loose articles policy an locker implementations at Epic Universe seems to be the best. For those who haven't seen... (hidden for those who are somehow still EU spoiler free and don't want to know anything)

Spoiler

The lockers for rides at Epic Universe are close to each ride station, and utilize facial recognition/photos to unlock. For example, imagine the Steel Vengeance lockers, but with photo recognition to unlock your cubby.

They could at least put a real fence to block the existing lockers from those who some may call "hooligans".

Nice to see you endlessly repeat things on all the threads you comment on.

Reported. Get off my thread.

I am absolutely tired of the Cedar Point elite-ism. Its why I will no longer be visiting any Cedar Fair parks starting 2026. Oh well.

This isn’t “your thread” it’s an open forum to discuss ideas and thoughts , but if you are so incensed about the parks- why wait till 2026? Just walk away now and make a real statement! (unless you are waiting on your cheesecake)
